The space History We would like to introduce a little bit of the house history to you. This is a historic house built in 1848. Over the years, it was turned into a two-family house. We originally moved into the unit on the second floor. We were lucky enough to purchase the whole house several years ago. At that time, we renovated the whole first floor and some parts of the upstairs and turned it into a single-family house which we lived in until July of 2022 when we purchased a home in the next town. That is why there are two kitchens in this house. However, the upstairs kitchen is not being utilized at this time. About us We are a small family with two boys. We are originally from Taiwan and settled in Danvers about 10 years ago. This was our first house; our kids and dogs have grown up in this house, so we didn’t want to just sell it. There are so many great memories attached to this home. Therefore, we decided to keep the house and turn it into a short-term rental so others can enjoy it as much as we did!! Guest access The entire house will be accessible with the exception of the locked basement and attic doors containing our personal belongings. Other things to note This is our family home, and we hope to find respectful guests who will abide by our reasonable house rules while fully enjoying the house as we do. This is a perfect, safe and clean home to rest while exploring historic Salem (the witch city) or the Wonderful city of Boston. We truly hope you enjoy your stay :) Please note: 1. The outdoor patio furniture will be set up from Spring to late Fall. 2. The backyard pictures were taken in the beginning of June when peonies were flowing. 3.
