Feel the breeze on your face as you sit on the private deck with your morning coffee or nightcap all the while watching and listening to waves breaking on the beach. The space The "Southern Breeze, newly remodeled" Beach house will check off all the boxes on your wish list. * Location: We are beach-side, 2nd row, steps from the beach. * Pet Friendly, $75 fee per dog, 2 dogs only, no cats (allergic). * Views: While sitting on the deck you will enjoy beautiful views of the ocean. Property is fenced in so safe for children and pets to play safely. *Accommodations: 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms. Sleeps 12 (everyone gets a comfortable bed). Split floor plan, 2 bdrm, 1 bath on one side, and 2 bdrm, 1 bath on the other side. Great for 2 families or more and provides privacy. Plenty of paved parking! Jamaica Beach is located on the west end of Galveston Island, 11 miles from 61st, this community has it's own grocery store, bar, restaurants, etc. Since this end of Galveston Island is the narrow land mass, you have the beach on one side and the bay on the other. We are just 14 minutes from Moody Gardens (featuring an aquarium, golf course/zip lines, etc.); the Schlitterbahn Waterpark, and many other popular beaches. Rick's Beach Rentals is just 4 miles down the road, you can rent kayaks, bicycles, surf boards, golf carts, etc. Head into town to one of the piers: Pier 21, Pleasure Pier (thrill rides, midway, restaurants, etc.), or the 61st Fishing Pier. Visit the downtown area, The Strand, for restaurants, lots of shopping, festivals, etc. Remember to check out the Grand 1894 Opera House, they have some fantastic performers and shows. * Jamaica Beach Community Pool, just minutes away, $5 ea. person per day. The thing I like best about the location of the "Southern Breeze" is that you are on a street that does not indicate to the public "Beach Access". Therefore, mainly our small community uses this beach. This makes it very nice for families. But hey, if you want the loud party beaches they are just a few miles down the road. Enjoy! Guest access Guest will have access to all the main floor of the home. Other things to note By booking, guest agrees to credit card hold of $500 for a security deposit prior to check in. Booking guest acknowledges that access to property will be denied until deposit is paid in full or reservation is forfeited without refund. It is your responsibility to make sure ALL guests in the group honor all House Rules, as the deposit is based on that. No third party bookings allowed. (you can not book for someone else). Please look over the welcome message on the fridge upon entering home! Maximum occupancy is twelve(12)guests. Minimum age to book is 25. At the time of booking confirmation a copy of a government issued ID (such as a Drivers License) must be sent to the e-mail on file. We are strictly a short term rental property. No more than 27 days can be booked at a time. Parking is limited to six vehicles. Do not block or park on any neighboring properties. So you are aware, parking in the street has the possibility of receiving a ticket. Do NOT smoke or vape in the house or on the upper deck. Smoking or vaping is allowed outside and DOWNSTAIRS ONLY! Dogs are allowed with a non-refundable pet fee of $75 per dog (limit 2 and to 25 lbs each unless otherwise discussed ). Please clean up after your pets. If pets are found and not declared, you will forfeit your security deposit. Please clean grill after use. Owners are not responsible for supplying charcoal, or lighter fluid. Absolutely NO FIREWORKS! Please notify us immediately of any issues, otherwise you will likely be charged for damage. No refunds will be issued for poor weather. There are security camera's on the property. Tampering with any security camera or smoke alarms is cause for immediate eviction with no refund. Registration number STR22-00211
