We are a permitted bed & breakfast, permit # BBPH 2012/0003. Beautiful bamboo home in upcountry tropical Haiku, 5 min. from Hookipa Beach, windsurf capital of the world & turtle sanctuary. Mostly quiet Christian refuge where the locals live! (Some wild roosters crowing, neighbors' cars passing, and occasional barking of dogs.) The space Our rooms are unique and inviting with their high, bamboo-studded ceilings and tropical bamboo woven walls that make you feel like you are truly on a Hawaiian vacation! The 2 private rooms can be rented together for groups and families, or separately for couples. We also have a fold-out twin bed for an extra guest. Guest access Our rooms are supplied with linens, towels, beach towels, beach chairs, coolers, iron, blow dryer, shower cap, shampoo, conditioner, soap, lotion, after-sun lotion, insect repellant, lawn games, dishes, cookware, silverware, utensils, microwave, fridge, coffemaker, kettle, toaster, hotplate, filtered water, composter, outdoor grill. Self-serve breakfast items include island coffee, island teas, hot chocolate, oatmeal, waffles, rice, almond milk, cereal, bread, butter, jelly, pancake mix, local fruit juices, and fruits from my yard. I also bake a banana bread that you will hopefully get to taste! During your stay I live in this home, but you have your own private space, entry, lanai, and carport. I am a local girl born and raised right on this property. I would love to answer any questions you have about our island, and recommend places to see and things to do.
