On a black sand beach next to a Balinese temple, the sound of waves will relax and mesmerize. This private villa is on its own small peninsula, surrounded by the Indian Ocean, rice fields and temples. A masterpiece of modern Balinese architecture, combining the feel and spirit of Bali with luxury living. The entire 700m2 villa is yours. See breaking waves from bed! (upstairs bdrms) Also a nice sunrise, temples, Mt Agung, and Nusa Penida. Our wrap around balconies are a nice hangout too. The space With Ubud and Sanur only 20 min away, our guests have countless temples and restaurants to explore. Refer to our in-house list for nearby attractions and restaurants. Bedrooms are oversized with big en-suite bathrooms. Everything has AC, even some bathrooms. Our pool is 20m long with a safety ledge for kiddos. There's a gym/cinema room downstairs. Antique recycled teak and slate from India is used throughout, as the owners built it to retire in. Villa Purnama comes fully staffed, with in-villa cooking available. Your ladies in waiting (maids) are Desak, Made and Putu. Goyo is your gardener, Wayan and Ketut are night security and Kadek cleans the beach. You'll have breakfast made for you every morning (included), your choice of western or Indonesian. Pink Bedroom 50m² Master Bedroom 92m² Blue Bedroom 75m² Orange Bedroom 75m² Office 16.5m² On top of that, there's another 400m² of living rooms and kitchens. Villa Purnama is not like a normal AirBnb, it's more like a tropical mansion with maid and concierge service =) Guest access Our staff will greet you on arrival. We have a big garage where you first enter. The property is located at the beach, in the Balinese village of Br. Rangkan, in the area known as Sukawati. The river behind flows down from Ubud's sacred Monkey Forest. The main street way out front goes to Sanur and the airport. We financially contribute our local village, so by staying here, you will too. Thanks! Other things to note If you have an odd-hour flight, let the staff know and maybe they can swing early check-in/late check-out. Many guests actually prefer to stay at the villa instead of going out, you'll see why! Massages, yoga, cooking and art classes, and even Balinese dance are available in-house, just ask Monika. Surfing, boogie boarding, and local fishing instruction also. There is a local convenience store (Alfamart) up at the big road. There's also Bali's largest western/euro/asian supermaket called Grand Lucky in Sanur, 20 mins by taxi. Or make a grocery list and our staff will scooter out and buy it for you (but you should go once, it's an experience in itself). Go to Sukawati Art Market and Mas (Ubud) for handicrafts and souveniers. Bali Zoo and the Safari Park are nearby. Grab and Gojek ride hailing works well, or you may book our local drivers, Mangku, Made or Gus. You can also order app-based food delivery and essentials. Any questions or planning, message Monika, she's your Abnb Host. With 20+ years in the Bali tourism industry, Monika is the ultimate concierge / super host, please take advantage of her services! Ms. Desak - Villa Manager, Head Maid Mss. Made & Putu - Maids Messrs. Goyo & Hulk - Groundskeeper Mr. Wayan - Night Watchman Ms. Kadek - Beach Cleaner Monika - Concierge Our area is not Kuta, Canggu or Seminyak with hordes of tourists, traffic and bumping music. We're in a sorta secret area, and still have rice paddies and smiling Balinese farmers and their cows... the real Bali. The owners live in Taiwan, Thailand and in Bali, and like tribal antiques, see some in the villa. Warning: there are small free-range =P geckos at Villa Purnama, as well as all over Bali. Some people are scared of them, but they only eat bugs and are part of the natural ecosystem in Bali. Not poisonous. There are also frogs in the rice paddies nearby, cows in the fields, and fish and fiddler crabs in the ocean at our beach, and the occasional sea turtle.
