The well-equipped and newly renovated MotherLode Cabin is an Amador County jewel all into itself, perched on a quiet hill only a short walk down to Sutter Creek’s Main Street and its idyllic namesake creek. The cabin is both pet and family friendly but still intimate enough for a couple’s getaway with amenities promoting relaxation and enjoyment of the simple things in life. Porch Sip on your favorite varietal (or perhaps a cup of coffee), watch the light go down (or come up), and enjoy good conversation with friends (or the sounds of peaceful solitude) while rocking in your chair under the covered porch. Kitchen & Dining Enjoy a fully stocked recently renovated kitchen with GE Cafe appliances, apron sink, and coffee nook. We provide regular, decaf coffee and teas, coffee grinder, coffee maker, and French press. We provide pots, pans, bowls, and service for 8 including wine glasses. Fire wood and starters are also provided if guests choose to cozy up and fire the pot belly stove. Living Room Leather couches, antique trinkets, and designs by local artists create a comfortable country living space. Netflix, Sling TV, Peacock Premium, and Disney+ are available to watch on the flat screen TV with blue tooth capable sound bar. Board games and books are also provided for your entertainment. Office/Den (downstairs) We happily provide High Speed WiFi (1200 mbs) and writers desk for digital nomads. Comfy pull out full size couch offers extra sleeping space. Master Bedroom/bath Unwind in the spacious Master Bedroom with king size bed, full closet with ironing board/iron, luggage racks, and adjoining Master Bath with claw foot soaking tub, beautiful dual basin sinks, and newly renovated shower with rain flow shower head (excellent water pressure). Soap, shampoo, conditioner, and lotion are provided. Queen Room Charming room with four post canopy bed that overlooks a quiet hill in the back where turkeys and deer are frequently seen grazing. Kid's/bunk room Twin over full bunk bed, rocking chair, Pack 'n play and baby monitor in the closet. This room features a flat screen TV with Netflix, Sling TV, Peacock Premium, and Disney+ (to keep those kids happy while parents relax). Furry Family We welcome only well-behaved and potty-trained dogs and we require a $40 pet fee in case your baby is not on her best behavior this trip. We provide a "pooch pack" with cleaning supplies and couch protectors for your peace of mind and also so the non-pet lovers can enjoy a hair and scratch-free experience. We provide a covered faux-grass potty area conveniently located adjacent to the house. Please be considerate of our nearest neighbors who enjoy the birds, squirrels, turkeys, and deer that frequent the yard between our houses. Please leash your pet and limit him/her from scaring the wildlife. Guest access Guests are invited to enjoy the front and side premises of the cabin. While you can enjoy the view of the open space in the back of the house - it is not accessible to guests. Other things to note Please use extreme caution when using our sloped driveway. Although street parking is strictly prohibited, the driveway holds up to three vehicles. Use parking brakes (there are also tire chocks in the garage for your use) and don’t forget to adjust side rearview mirrors downward so you can see where you’re going when backing out. The garage is also available for your parking use with space for two more vehicles (a total of 5). If you use the garage opener please return it to the wood bowl in the living room or you will be charged a fee to replace it.
