Located in deep South Austin in Shady Hollow our beautiful home is perfect for families moving to the area and looking for a permanent home, families renovating and needing a place to stay, or traveling professionals. We are 1 block away from Gatling Gun Park, 1/2 mile away from Baranoff Elementary, 2 miles from Bailey Middle School and 2.5 miles from Bowie High School We are set up perfectly for a family with kids but would work well for any kind of group looking to rent month-to-month. The space Every room and hallway in this house is spacious and bright! The office is located in the front of the house with plenty of space from the main living areas and bedrooms for uninterrupted remote working. We have fast internet through AT&T with multiple wifi boosting "Dots" throughout the house. The master bedroom is huge and bright, furnished with a queen bed, big desk and smart TV. The master bath is also huge with two sinks, a separate tub and shower and big closet Bedrooms 1 has a queen bed, bedroom 2 has a single bed and bedroom 3 is furnished with a single loft bed with a built in desk. Updated photos of bedroom 1 and 2 are coming shortly! Bedroom 1 and 2 have closets that will be available for guests' use. Bedroom 3 has no closet but has a cubby with a place to hang clothes. The kitchen has a huge skylight and is in the same room with the wall of windows looking out to the backyard. It's so bright that no artificial light is needed when the sun is up - even on a cloudy day! It's fully equipped with a state-of-the-art gas range and convection oven and stainless steel appliances. The island is big enough for 3 kids to eat breakfast together with plenty of counter-space left for cooking. The whole kitchen has so much seating and counter-space it's ideal for hosting! The dining area is adjacent to the kitchen and living room with a whole wall of bright windows looking out onto the green backyard. It is furnished with a dining table for 6 and a shelf that holds games, crafts and other fun things for kids ages 0-100. We also have shelves for easily placing family pictures if you are staying for a few months and want the place to feel like home. The living room is great for quality time. There is a 65" smart TV with state-of-the-art speakers, a record player (and record collection in the cabinets under the TV), and a beautiful Yamaha upright piano. The master bedroom (located next to the dining room) is also huge and bright with big windows looking out on the backyard. It is furnished with a queen bed, a large, antique desk for another workspace area and a 43" smart TV with a speaker bar. The master bath is attached and has a separate bath and shower as well as a large closet that will be cleaned out and available for guests' use. The backyard is big and green with a big trampoline, gas grill and seating area with a flower garden! The back fence opens up to soccer fields and a walking path that leads right to Gatling Gun park. There is a lot of community activity right behind the house almost every day! The front yard and driveway look out onto our street and Gatling Gun park. There is room for 2 cars in the driveway (the garage will not be accessible to guests) and there is also room for 1 car to park on the street. Guest access Guests will have access to the whole house except the upstairs area and the garage. Other things to note This is the house that we live in and plan to move back to after 6 months! We will clear out all of our personal belongings and store them in the areas that are not available to guests. :)
