Huge & fun artist's loft - 5 levels!
Huge, Fun Artist's Loft - 5 levels!
Welcome to my huge, fun, 5-floor loft, in central Seattle with downtown transportation at your doorstep. Minutes from stadiums, sites and restaurants, it's ideal for active families, business travelers and small groups who want personal space yet to stay together. PLEASE READ thoroughly! It's a comfy, industrial, quirky, urban artist loft (not a suburban house). Furniture and decorations do change occasionally but I have tried to capture the layout and vibes in the photos. The space PRICING & AVAILABILITY Base price is for 3 people. Additional guests are $35 each, per day up to 7 guests. Airbnb fees, city taxes and cleaning fees are additional. Please make sure you search for the correct number of guests to see the total price. Price varies by season. The calendar is up-to-date with current availability. LOFT DETAILS (please read carefully) This is a very unique, large (2200 sq ft/205 sq m), 5-story loft townhome in central Seattle. We're close to the stadiums, restaurants, transportation, and downtown. You can look up 1820 E Yesler Way to explore the location online. (This area is growing fast and attracting various construction projects at the moment, including across Yesler.) This is a certified "built green", industrial artist loft with cool art, worn floorboards of recycled HDF, a "wet room", air hockey table, solar heating/hot water and lots of stairs. I have 4 levels of sleeping areas: Master (queen), 4th floor (full & twin), living area (twin sleepers) and 3rd floor landing area (twin). LAYOUT: TOP FLOOR, 5 The private top floor is separated from the lower areas by the private stairs (see photo). The master has a queen bed and the balcony has a stunning view of the Olympic Mountains and downtown. The master bath has a large soaking tub and a roomy shower. FLOOR 4 This is the catwalk floor that you see above the living room! The 4th floor bedroom has a twin and a double bed and a door. This floor has the "wet room" shower (the entire bathroom *is* the shower, like a yacht!) Please keep the wet room showers quick. Washer and dryer available for your use. There is a balcony and since chairs facing Yesler that can be used if there is a smoker in your group or to just relax and people watch. FLOOR 3 Large living area with a mid-century La Vele convertible sofa/sleeper and a comfortable full twin day bed. Adjacent to the living area is the large kitchen. Also on this level is a foosball coffee table, a small dining table, TV with Roku, and a sofa. FLOOR 2 This is the industrial "landing area nook" listed as "bedroom 3". It contains a sleeping area with a twin bed, and cement flooring with area rugs, a poker table, computer and printer. There is also an electric fireplace/heater. FLOOR 1 This is where the air hockey table and the 3rd bathroom (half bath) is located. Here you have access to the front and back doors. This is a simple concrete, retail-looking area with privacy blinds. Please be gentle with the air hockey table if you use it. SUMMER - AC? Nope! AC is typically not needed in Seattle because our glorious summers average in the 70s (but there are usually a couple weeks in the 80s.) We have fans throughout. Please look it up, it's true. We just don't need ACs in Seattle :-) We DO need heaters though… **** This Loft is great for: * Fans who want to attend games at the nearby fields * Business travelers who want space to work, relax and spread out * Quiet groups and families - (no parties or non-residential noises) I will send you your PIN to open the back door on the morning you will arrive. You may park at my compact spot in the courtyard of our building. Please let me know how many singles / double you have so I can prepare your beds and your arrival time. If you want to request early check in (before 4) or to drop your bags, message me and I'll try to accomodate if possible. At a glance, this is what you get. * 2200 square feet (205 sq meters)! * 3 TVs with Roku * Poker table * Air hockey table * Mini foosball coffee table * 1 assigned compact parking space (big spot, tight turn) * Washer/dryer/dishwasher * Green design, recycled floorboards, solar heating/water * 20’ ceilings and tall, bright windows, blackout shades * Downtown bus directly outside * Streetcar to stadiums nearby * Apple computer and printer * Rice cooker, blender, toaster, Kitchen-Aide mixer * Fast wifi ********** After you book, kindly send a message confirming you understand the noise policies and rules, communicate the purpose of your trip and confirm the number of guests traveling. Please include an ETA if you have one. Sorry, no visitors or gatherings without express permission. Bonus kharma for reading this far! Thanks! ********** Guest access You have private access to this entire, 5-level home. Please be gentle with my things and respect my neighbors. Other things to note ***Please be gentle with my things (including air hockey, blinds, countertops and watch for stains!) ***NO dinner party events, unregistered visitors, “bachelor/ette” events or photo shoots without express permission. *** Neighbors must not be disturbed or we are will be fined by the HOA and/or I could lose my STR license. Any noise heard should be only that expected of a respectful tenant.*** This is AN OPEN CONCEPT LOFT. It's fun and very unconventional. Unusual stuff to consider includes: The 4th floor bedroom is the only BR with a door. (The master suite and full bath en suite is the full 5th floor separated by a flight of stairs and a wall ). The 2nd floor sleeping area is in an alcove on the landing area. The 4th floor bathroom is a “wet room” which means the entire room IS also the shower space. The first floor where the air hockey is located is a retail/studio space with your entry doors. There is one compact parking space available for this unit - the driveway is tight, the spot is roomy. Street parking is free and usually plentiful. Neighborhood is industrial, urban area at the edge of downtown. There is construction on Yesler including new condos across the street and other projects around the area that can generate noise during the day. PLEASE make sure everyone in your group understands the vertical layout, the location, the quirks and the rules. Registration number STR-OPLI-19-000584
