We are in the northwest coast of the beautiful island of Mauritius, at the beginning of Trou aux Biches and on the coastal road. The sea is on the other side of the road. A few steps away is the public beach of Pointe aux Biches and swimming is less than a hundred meters from the apartments, the small beach next to Veranda Pointe aux Biches Resorts Hotel. We are 2 minutes drive from one of the most lovely and sandy beaches of the island, Trou aux Biches beach. The space We only have three apartments on the property, one on the ground floor, one on the first floor and the penthouse on the second floor with a view of the ocean and the swimming pool. The apartments can accommodate four adults and one child up to age 12. The apartments are off the coastal road and the sea is on the other side of the road. This apartment which is located on the first floor consists of one ventilated king-size bedroom fitting a large ceiling fan but air-conditioning as extra, a large patio, a living with a fully equipped kitchenette (fridge/refrigerator, gas stove, microwave, kettle, flat-screenTV, toaster, coffee maker… including a complete set of cooking utensils). Our fully equipped laundry room features a washing machine and ironing equipment. You have access to a covered area with BBQ facility and where you can even cook outdoor. WiFi is provided by high-speed Fiber Optics connectivity and is available free of charge. We have only two seasons on the island Guest access You can relax in the garden as well as in the saltwater pool. Each apartment is private and there is a common private-owned parking adjacent to the property if ever you rent a car. All necessary outdoor facilities, chairs, deck-chairs, tables ... are provided for each apartment. If you don't find something, just name it! Nearby you will find small shops, a money changer office, bars, restaurants (Cabane du Filao, La Cabane du Pecheur, La Voile Bleue, Le Veranda Resorts Hotel ...), a pizzeria, pharmacy..., a supermarket is just 100mts away, as well as the taxi stand and the bus station is next to the apartments. And if you want to try our Séga (typical Mauritian dance), then dare give it a try at La Voile Bleue, The Skipper Restaurant or le Veranda Hotel, one minute's walk from our property. Other things to note The complex is well maintained and secure with private patrol. You have also the opportunity to order a few steps from the apartments, at our neighbour next door, home-made dishes for lunch or dinner if you want for a small fee. A real discovery of our typical Mauritian cuisine! She cooks only for our residents. We can also organize your airport transfer, outings and other excursions on land, at sea but also in the air (yes, paragliding has also made its way into the island!). If ever you are hiring a contract car, we can help to get you a good deal via a registered contract car agency. Air conditioning is extra at MUR 220 (€ 5) per day and per room. It is advisable for you to decide on-site as we have only two seasons and large ceilings fans. An amount of 50 € will be asked as deposit money on the day of your arrival and it will be returned after an inventory on the day of your departure. Our rentals are reserved and rented exclusively to foreign guests and we also have the license from the Tourism Authority of Mauritius.
