ABOUT THE AREA: Quechee is the hidden gem of Vermont's Upper Valley and Vermont's premier destination for all seasons. In the Spring, Summer and Fall enjoy the areas many hiking trails, the famous Quechee Gorge and Quechee State Park, a 36 hole golf course rated one of the top in the country plus countless other pristine courses within a 30 minute drive. In the Winter, Quechee offers skiing (downhill and cross country), snow shoeing, snow mobiling, ice fishing. Easy access to some of the most desirable ski destinations in the Northeast. HOUSE DETAILS: The main level features an open concept kitchen, dining and living room, as well as 1/2 bath and full size washer/dryer. Dining room seats six to eight people. There is a large private deck off the living room with outdoor seating, lounge chairs, and new propane grill. The living room also features a wood burning fireplace perfect for après ski or cozying up on those chilly Vermont nights. The 2nd floor includes the master bedroom which features a queen bed, ensuite bathroom with tub, and balcony perfect for sipping coffee or a cocktail. The 2nd bedroom has two plush twin beds. The 3rd bedroom sleeps up to six people with two bunk beds. One of the bunk beds has a pull-out trundle bed, for a total of three beds. The other bunk bed has a futon that folds down to a full size bed. The 2nd floor also includes another full bathroom off the hallway. Additional amenities include: Propane, grill, wood burning fireplace, puzzles, jumbo jenga, poker set, and other games, for your enjoyment. We are kid friendly and hope to help you travel lightly by providing essentials such as a pack n' play, high chair, baby monitor, books and toys, and children's utensils, plates, bowls and cups.
