The space This very clean and simple house can meet your needs whether you are stopping through for a one night stay, planning a hunting/fishing trip or exploring Southern Illinois - it will work for you ! *We do follow the 5-step enhanced cleaning process between each stay ! Other things to note Parking does allow for a boat along with access to outdoor power Location Within 5 miles to I64 and I57 10 miles to Mt Vernon Less then 1 mile to closest access to 1000+ acres of public hunting land Within 3 miles to Rend Lake access Walking distance to Lucky Duck Convenient store *BEFORE BOOKING* IF YOU VIOLATE THE PET OR SMOKING POLICY THERE WILL BE A $50 CHARGE. WE HAVE RECENTLY HAD GUESTS SMOKE IN THE HOUSE AND BRING PETS WITHOUT PRIOR APPROVAL. WE TAKE THIS VERY SERIOUS AS IT CAUSES DELAYS WITH CLEANING AND MAKES IT UNPLEASANT FOR FUTURE GUESTS. WE TRY TO KEEP THE HOUSE AS CLEAN AND ODORLESS AS POSSIBLE WHILE PROVIDING A REASONABLE PRICE. Futon The secondary sleeping option is a futon. This is a couch that folds down to the size of a twin size bed. This is the complete opposite of a pillow top plush luxurious mattress. Our little house is a very affordable option for multiple guests but it comes at a cost - someone has to sleep on the futon. WiFi We provide a verizon hotspot device (there are very limited internet options for our area). This will provide you with a Max of about 5-10Mbps. This is enough to run a streaming service such as YouTube or Netflix but likely not multiple devices at one time.
