Located on picturesque Hobbs Pond, Salisbury Camp includes a cottage and the Bunkhouse. The Bunkhouse is a bright, comfortable space where you will enjoy views of the lake and your own large private yard space while hearing the calls of the loons and taking in the natural setting. During your stay, you may spot birds, an otter, or even deer. Just a short drive from the coastal village of Camden and two hours from Acadia National Park, Hope is the perfect spot for a peaceful getaway. The space Salisbury Bunkhouse is a two-bedroom home located above a garage across the lane from the lake. When you arrive, you'll park outside and walk around the right side of the structure, where you will find a set of stairs leading up to a deck and the front door. The home has a generous combined kitchen and living room with counter stools, a dining table, streaming TV with Hulu and other available content, and a sofa that folds down into a double bed. Two separate bedrooms provide dedicated sleeping space. Guest access Salisbury Bunkhouse is located on Loon Lane, a quiet private drive that runs along the lake. Guests can access the lake across the lane from the Bunkhouse - a kayak and two canoes are available for use. The shore of the lake at this point is shallow, making it easy to wade or enter/exit a boat. The home itself is surrounded by a large field with a fire pit that will be completely yours during your stay, and we've included a gas grill next to the Bunkhouse deck. When you arrive, you'll park in the driveway in front of the garage bay doors. The garage is not accessible to guests, but it is not in use for vehicles so you won't need to worry about blocking in any cars. The space is completely yours! Other things to note Hope is located in a valley which makes cell reception difficult. We have included a land line telephone for use in the event of an emergency. We recommend activating wifi calling on your phone during your stay, which will allow you to easily make and receive calls while connected to the Bunkhouse wifi network.
