This 1950's cottage was completely renovated 7 years ago with a relaxed family friendly vibe! There is a fenced yard and a partial view of the lake; all just steps from your private extra wide beach on the North Shore of Lake Weir. We have chairs, a fire pit, paddle boards, a kayak, and a two story dock to fish from or to tie off a boat. The space The main bedroom has a queen bed and a loveseat. A large comfy couch and over sized chair is in the living room with a flat screen smart TV which includes access to all streaming services (no cable). The kitchenette is stocked with essentials and has a small fridge, toaster oven, microwave, coffee pot, two burner hotplate, toaster, and blender. (There is no full size stove/oven.) The second bedroom has a twin bed (there is a curtain, but no door to this room). The screened in porch is large with a table and 4 chairs, a sectional outdoor couch. It is a great space for game night or a cup of coffee in the morning! This is also where you will find a corn hole game, floats, and cushions for the beach chairs. You are about 200 steps from the large private beach. There is a beautiful partial view of the lake. There is a gas grill just outside of the porch and a small area is fenced for a small to medium dog. Please note, there is an additional $50 pet fee to ensure all our guests have a fur and dander free visit! Please remember to clean up after your pet! 💩 baggies are provided. There is a large yard with room to park right next to the cottage. Guest access You will have the whole cottage and full access to the private beach. We have a separate house on the property, catty corner from the cottage. We will typically not be there when guests are; unless you need us. This is a place to kick back and relax! Other things to note The location can't be beat! You are very secluded, yet there are restaurants and shopping for basics within 2 miles. The Villages community is about 10 miles away and offers a wide range of shopping, restaurants, entertainment, and medical services. Belleview, Ocala, and Summerfield are also 10-20 minutes away.
