The space On a wooded one acre lot with a flowing creek bordering the back lot line, the mother-in-law suite located in the PRIVATE daylight walkout basement of our home offers plenty of space to spread out and relax. With several outdoor sitting areas including a lower patio area with fire pit or a creekside deck, you can comfortably enjoy nature surrounding the home. PRIVATE MIL Suite Includes: - Kitchenette with sink, mini fridge, portable single induction burner, microwave, convection toaster oven, crock-pot, coffee maker, kitchen tools, - Eat in kitchen (table and chairs), - Bedroom with king bed, - Sleeping nook with x-long twin bed, - Living room with tv and electric fireplace, - Bathroom with toilet, shower, sink, washer + dryer, - Private entrance and parking, - Puzzles, games, coloring books and books in hutch, * Upon request: pack n' play, crib mattress to lay on floor, and/ or high chair seat. Our Family of Five: Since this is our family home, we are available to offer information about the area. We enjoy getting to know our guests, however if you would like privacy we are happy to honor that as well. Our Pets: 1. Our daughters’ six “pet” backyard chickens: We have a fully enclosed, safe chicken coop with 1/4” hardware cloth. The chickens are super fun and relaxing to watch and listen to. Mostly you will not hear them, however they "chat" when they are laying an egg. ;) 2. INSIDE dog, Lily (Rhodesian Ridgeback): When Lily hears you walk up the lower level sidewalk, she might greet you with a bark from INSIDE our main living space. She is friendly and energetic. If you see Lily outside, she will be on a leash as Brett takes her on one of her multiple daily walks around the neighborhood. Lily is not allowed in the guest suite. With guest with allergies in mind, we keep the suite animal free. Guest access Parking - Private lower gravel driveway on the same ground level as the PRIVATE mother-in-law suite. Steps -Only one step up from the gravel sidewalk into the suite. Other things to note Please note: This is our home which we are thrilled to share with you! Because we want this vacation to be full of beautiful memories for you, we make every effort to honor and respect your space while you are our guests. Sounds around our home and property: - This space is new (completed in 2021), so we used the latest building materials including extra insulation. We live above the basement in-law suite, therefore you will be able to hear us walking and moving around. We take every effort to be considerate of our guests. You should not be able to hear us talking, music, or the television. - We have an INSIDE dog, Lily. Possibly, at some point during the day, you might hear her bark once or twice, but not insistently. She is NOT a barky dog. When she is outside, she will be on a leash usually going for a walk in the neighborhood with Brett. She will wag her tail when she sees you, but no worries if you don't want to visit with her. - Six COOP Chickens (NOT free range chickens): We intentionally bought "quieter" breeds of chickens, which are super entertaining to watch! Typically, you will only hear the chickens when they are laying an egg because they want to tell you all about it. :) - Creek: Outside you can hear the beautiful sound of water running. - Birds: We live in the woods, so our mornings begin with the sweet song of birds chirping.
