Inside the rooms are bright and airy with red oak floors (reclaimed from a farmhouse in upstate New York), stained glass windows, and wooden beams. The house sits on more than two acres and there's plenty of outdoor space. Located at the top of the staircase with two steps up to enter, this room features a queen-sized bed, private backyard views, remote-controlled curtains, a wall-mounted Smart TV, and an electric fireplace. Room #2: - Title: Spacious Primary Bedroom with King Bed - Description: This primary bedroom boasts a luxurious king-sized bed and is situated to the right at the top of the main staircase. There is a door to the exterior, a Smart TV, a Bose sound bar, and an electric fireplace. Please note: There is not a bathroom on the second floor. The main bathroom is located on the first floor of the home. Room #3: - Title: Family-Friendly Room with Bunk Beds - Description: Located on the main level across from the main bathroom, this room sleeps four guests. It features bunk beds with a full-size bottom bunk, a twin-sized top bunk, and a twin-sized trundle bed. The room also includes a half-bath en suite, making it perfect for families or groups of friends. Shared Spaces and Amenities - Kitchen: Fully equipped with spices, oils, vinegar, basic kitchen staples, coffeemaker, dishes, silverware, stove, pans, microwave, toaster, refrigerator, and a dining table for 6. Other things to note Fall is a beautiful time to visit the castle to enjoy the fall foliage and visit nearby attractions such as The Great Jack-O-Lantern Blaze located at Van Cortlandt Manor in Croton-on-Hudson. We are also located a short distance from hiking trails, ski resorts, and wineries.
