The McGrath House is a luxury historic home located in downtown Fayetteville. Enjoy the side porch, flagstone patio or backyard fire pit or walk down the block to Fayetteville's finest shops, pubs and restaurants. The owners of the McGrath House also own the 192 acre Gaines Estate that is across the street. Guests at the McGrath House are welcome to hike on the trails at the Gaines Estate. Only 1 mile to the New River Gorge Bridge and trailheads. The space The McGrath House was built in 1910 and completely renovated as a vacation rental in 2015. It features 4 bedrooms and sleeps up to 12 people. The master bedroom on the ground floor has a king bed and master bath. Bedroom #2 on the 2nd floor has a queen bed and single bed. Bedroom #3 (2nd floor) has a king bed and bedroom #4 (2nd floor) has a full size bed and single bed. Bedroom #4 is accessed through bedroom #3. There is a full bath on the 2nd floor and a half bath on the ground floor. A full size pull out couch is available in the upstairs landing. The modern kitchen is fully stocked with appliances, cooking utensils and tableware. Cable TV and wifi are available in the house. Outside features a covered side porch, large flagstone patio and flagstone fire pit in the backyard. Fayetteville's finest restaurants, pubs and shops are located as close as across the street to a few blocks. Guests also have access to the 192 acre Gaines Estate Property that is also across the street. The New River Gorge Bridge and park trailheads are only 1 mile away. No other property offers this combination of luxury living and convenience to Fayetteville and the New River Gorge. If you have a group that is larger than 12, we own the Wiseman House that is directly behind the McGrath House. The Wiseman house is pet friendly with a fenced in back yard. There is a gate connecting the two back yards if you rent both properties. Guest access The entire house and yard are available for guests.
