Storage shed and tiny house are private and locked. ⚠️ Please drive SLOWLY on the one-way, shared driveway. Watch for pets and wildlife. 🐶🦌🐢 ⚠️ Garbage cans will be brought up to the street every Monday morning. Landscaping and mowing is scheduled for Wednesdays, weather permitting. We will notify guests if the lawn needs to be mowed on another day. Smoking of any kind is not permitted inside the cabin or yurt. There will be a $500 fine for smoking inside. Please stay 30+ feet from any structure and properly dispose all associated debris. We do not allow pets. Please do not ask for an exemption to our policy as I love pets and have a hard time saying no. Thank you! Other things to note Low cleaning fee and no cleaning tasks upon check out! WiFi available. Cell service can be spotty depending on carrier — if your phone allows, we suggest setting up WiFi calling. We are in a rural area — you might hear the occasional tractor, train, goat, frog or dog. Wildlife abounds — eagles, heron, deer and turtles enjoy the lake. Lake is also stocked with a variety of fish. The house is on a septic system — please no food waste down the kitchen sink (there is no garbage disposal). Also please only flush toilet paper and natural waste — small garbage cans are provided in each bathroom to dispose of feminine products. Heated by a propane fireplace in the living room, heated tiled floors, and electric wall heaters. There is no furnace or AC. The original rock fireplace in the dining room is not available for use. Please treat the space with respect. If any problems arise, we will do our best to take action ASAP as we live a few acres over across the little bridge.
