The cottage offers a sunroom to enjoy your coffee while watching the birds and squirrels. During the summer, enjoy the many flower gardens or sit by the Koi pond. It is quiet and relaxing. The space The cottage offers a full-size refrigerator, gas range, and microwave in the kitchen area and guests have access to cable TV and wireless Internet. The cottage is private with a separate driveway and a sunroom at the back of the cottage. Guests can wander through the flower gardens in the summer or sit beside the koi fishpond or watch the hummingbirds drink nectar from the many feeders around the cottage. The cottage is fenced, so pets are welcome, however since it is a small space, typically I accept only two. Please tell me if you are coming with a pet. Because it requires more cleaning and possibility for damage when pets visit, there is a $75 pet charge that can be paid upon arrival, if Airbnb doesn't include in fees. Note: The host lives nearby on the property in a separate house with a separate fence. During your stay the hosts will do their best not to disturb you. During summer months there may be times during your stay that the gardens need to be tended to, however, the host will reach out to you with times you can expect them to be outside. We have recently built a chicken coop on the property which is within the fenced in backyard. We have intentions to separate this from the Airbnb side with a fence, however, we have not yet been able to. This comes with a perk - you get a few farm fresh eggs during your stay! Guest access Guests can also relax in the gazebo in front of the cottage and have full access to the cottage, front courtyard including the koi fish pond area, and backyard. There is parking right in front of the cottage so there is easy access to the cottage. Please note there are a few small step-ups and step-downs throughout the cottage so please be careful as you enter the cottage. Other things to note Shelbyville is the home of the National Tennessee Walking Horse Celebration having horse shows just about every weekend plus Jack Daniel's Brewery is a 20-minute drive away. The brewer has daily tours to see how they make their product. Also, you are able to see the beautiful spring that supplies their water. The Nearest Green Distillery is a new addition to the city and is only a 15-minute drive from the cottage. With Nashville only an hour away, there are many activities all year round. The cute town of Bell Buckle is also only a 20-minute drive from the cottage. Additionally, the cottage is fixated about 5-minutes from the town square including many antique shops and a couple coffee shops.
