Our lakefront house is a large historic farmhouse that has been lovingly renovated and restored to have an open floor plan on the main floor, modern kitchen, 5 bedrooms and four modern full bathrooms. The location is ideal if you like the water because we are immediately between Lake Elizabeth (700+ acres) and Mary (400+). Our large front lawn is perfect for yard games and grilling and goes directly to Lake Elizabeth and our private pier. Our frontage is sandy - no weeds. The space We have four large large bedrooms on the 2nd floor and one large bedroom on the main floor. The main floor is mostly open, aside from the bathroom and the large bedroom/office we opened the entire floor plan, so the kitchen flows into the dining room (table can seat 14), and the living room. It's a very nice area for a large family to hang out. We have a bunch of board games and books. The main floor has brand new hardwood flooring. The second/top floor is where most of the bedrooms are, they are large, classic bedrooms with the original floors that we refinished. There are two full bathrooms up there, one with a shower and one with a tub. In addition to the beds there are two pull out sleeper sofas on the 2nd floor. The lower level has an authentic German Bierstube, with a bar and second dining area, an 85" smart TV, 2nd fireplace and a second (small) kitchen. In the fall this is where we watch the packers games. The lower level has a shower, changing rooms and a bathroom. When we are using the house we use the door to the changing area (to the left of the main door) when we (and the kids) come in off the lake. We shower and change down there and then come upstairs. That way you keep the water and dirt out of the main living area. We have a large picnic table by the lake with a firepit, and a seating area with a new gas grill closer to the house for grilling out. Our frontage is on Lake Elizabeth. Because of our position on the lake, which is the waviest area, we get almost no seaweed. The ground by the swimming area is sandy with some rocks, no mud or seaweed. There are Sonos smart speakers throughout the house. The HVAC was replaced two years ago and, combined with the shade from Mt Moriah, keeps the house nice and cool in the summer. We have a tankless water heater large enough to run all three showers at the same time. We spray for mosquitos every month. The pantry on the main floor has a bunch of extra kitchen tools for those who like to cook, including a stand mixer, griddle, crock pot and blender. Guest access The whole house is yours. Other things to note We have a kayak and some small sailboats - a Laser and a Hobie 16 and a swimming trampoline that are available for you to use as well as a grill and a full complement of yard games.
