Located in the mountains above Playa Dominical at 1,400ft, allowing for cooler temps and fresh breezes.Enjoy yoga or a workout with a view in our two story fitness oasis, followed by a relaxing day pool side and exploring the permaculture fruit forest.Or venture beyond to explore the mountains, ocean, rivers and waterfalls our area has to offer. 4x4 required The space Casa Motmot is a newly built 2 bedroom 1 bath adorable home that sits on the edge of the jungle. (There is an additional 1/2 bath poolside a short walking distance away.) Enjoy your coffee, listen to the birds and watch the clouds rise out of the valley from the breakfast/reading nook. Visit the weekly farmers markets and cook your meals in our fully equipped kitchen, the 4 person dining table is on the front patio a joining the kitchen. Both bedrooms feature custom designed guanacaste wood bunk beds. These are made to suit adults, with lots of space between the bottom and top bed so you don’t feel cramped, but still perfectly fine for families traveling with children. There is a Queen size for the bottom bed and a Double/Full size for the top bed, and both have high end Posturepedic mattresses for a very comfortable sleep! There are A/C units and closets in each bedroom for you to make yourself feel at home. Both the top and bottom beds have built in nitches with outlets, reading lights, and space for your personal things, as well as a windows to give some extra airflow and to take in the views from your bed. The bathroom separates the bedrooms and has a walk in shower overlooking the treetops behind the house. Or if you prefer to rinse off in our natural stone tiled outdoor shower surrounded by lush gardens and the serenity of nature, you can do that too!! Pool and Fitness Oasis Cool off in our therapeutic saltwater pool while listening to the cascading water of our water feature (see photos for pics of the waterfall!) Read a book or take a nap poolside on our loungers, comfy day bed, or hammock chairs. The bottom floor of the oasis also has a stunning 12 person dining table, perfect for when groups/families rent both villas (see listing for Casa Palma at Mountains to Sea, our 3 bedroom 2 bath villa). There is a chef's kitchen available for use if the guests choose to hire a private chef through the help of your hosts for an additional cost. The second floor of the Oasis has breathtaking views and is a 900sq ft open area with teak floors. As an Air BnB guest you can spend time practicing yoga, working out, meditating or lounging in a hammock. Private personal training or yoga sessions are also available upon request for an additional fee. ***We do not allow coaches, teachers, etc. to use this space for business without renting this space separately. Or walk the dirt road through the jungle, exploring our property and area with gorgeous views! Guest access Guests will have access to the Villa you rent, the shared Pool, Fitness Oasis and grounds. Other things to note A 4x4 vehicle is necessary for our driveway to the house, it is a dirt road and a little bit steep, it is in good condition.
