The hosts are Juan and Wendy. We have been hosting for 7 years. We host 2 rooms on our second floor and live on the first. On the second floor, the kitchenette is exclusively used by our Airbnb guests, as well as shared bathroom. Our rooms are single occupancy. Please know that our house rules a strict for a reason. This is our home, not a commercial property, we respectfully ask that you read said rules and understand by booking, you agreed to abide by them for the length of your stay. The space The house was built in 1930’s. We have done remodeling work since 2010. The room is one of two located on our second floor. They are well equipped and perfect for remote work. They each have a desk, mini fridge, toaster, coffee maker, 32' TV. The second floor has a small but fully equipped kitchenette with dish soap, few spices,electric stove, wash, dryer ( detergent not included),bigger refrigerator, utensils, pots, pans etc.. Guest access Our goal is for our guests to have a positive experience, for which we go above and beyond to be as helpful as possible. And with that in mind, after 7 years of hosting, we gathered these needed to be know before booking. We use 2 bedrooms for hosting; they are single occupancy, meaning only 1 person per room. We don't allow visitors, only the guest is allowed in the house, anyone else, not previously discussed, will be trespassing and will be asked to leave. We use self check in via a code for both from and room door. Our check in is at 3 pm and check out at 10 am: we will send you self check in instructions the morning of arrival. If traveling without Wi-Fi, let us know and the code will be sent sooner to avoid issues with the self check in process. If you extend your stay without a prior discussion, you will be charge: $20 for the first hour, $15 for every hour after that. During your stay We use of the Airbnb app for communication for record keeping and for simplicity. Please, unless otherwise previously agreed, don’t call our private cell phones as we work during the day and the call might be missed. Other things to note There is video surveillance for the outside of the house. The individual rooms and bathroom are completely private. The hosts will not enter the occupied rooms unless there is an emergency, in which case the host will be notified via the platform. Registration number STR-459557
