If you don’t feel like grilling out, or sitting around the fire by the pond, you can get a bite to eat at The Princess Restaurant just 5 min away (2.6 miles) it has wonderful food and nice cold ice cream for those hot summer days. Cookson Marina Restaurant is 9 min away (4.4 miles) where you can sit on the deck and enjoy the lake activities, great food & cold drinks! For a little night life, good food and cold beverages, try “The Deck” at Cookson Village, it is 8 min (4.2 miles). They often have live music on the weekends! Pick up any necessities at Dollar General in Keys, OK as you pass through, and any fishing gear at Jimmy Houston’s Outdoor Store. The green house is not open for guest. The tornado shelter can be opened if warnings for our area are posted. Other things to note The kitchen has an antique stove, it is not used. We have a microwave, oven roaster, electric double burner, and a nice LARGE toaster oven. It works just like a conventional oven and has a rack so (2) items that can be baked at the same time. Then outside you will find a great Blackstone grill/griddle, perfect for cooking out!
