Find yourself on a semi-private lot where you can relax at a spacious, lakeside oasis. 3 floors of living space with 200ft of lakefront! Located on the Northeast side of Cayuga Lake in the heart of Finger Lakes Wine Country. Enjoy fishing, kayaking, swimming, relaxing in the hot tub, campfires, glorious sunsets and more! The space The space All of the amenities of your home! Great Room: Quickly upon entering The Sanctuary, you will find yourself in the great room. Here, gather with friends & family to enjoy the priceless lake views, watch TV or play some board games. On a chilly night, cozy up to the electric fireplace. Kitchens: The full kitchen on main floor includes stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, coffee maker, & kitchen items. Dining area is attached. There is a kitchenette on bottom floor which includes, refrigerator, stove, sink, microwave & kitchen items. Dining area also attached. Throw dinner in the crock pot & set it and forget it while you go on a boat tour for the day, or fire up the pizza oven after exploring Historic Seneca Falls. Coffee bar is stocked. Coffee and tea are provided. Basic kitchen necessities such as salt, pepper, some spices, and utensils are available for guests convenience. Outside cooking: A grill on the upper deck allows you to catch the sunset while cooking. Propane provided. There's nothing better than the smell of lake air and bbq! Bathrooms: On the main floor there is a half bath. A full bath with a Jacuzzi tub is located on the 3rd floor attached to the master bedroom. A 3rd full bath (with shower) is located on the bottom floor. Master Suite Bedroom (top floor): Windows overlook the lake to capture sunsets and the master bath includes a Jacuzzi tub, double shower, double sink and walk through closet. Bathroom essentials on hand for you to use just in case you forgot something. Bottom Floor Bedrooms: Main Suite with a King and Queen bed, dressers, tv, & sliding door to outside. Parlor Room with Queen bed, dresser, tv, door to lower deck/hot tub. Living Room includes a queen pull out sofa. Laundry: Guests may use washer and dryer on lower level. Laundry detergents available. Boat House: Next to the lake, you will find our boat house. Inside, lawn games such as corn hole & badminton, fishing poles & water floats can be found. There is also a large couch if you need to take a quick siesta! Next to the boat house is where you will find 2 8-ft kayaks, a canoe & lifejackets. Dock: The dock leads you right into the water, where you can catch some fish, take in the sunset, or dip in the water. Please note, the dock is not permanent, and not capable of tying up large watercraft. There is a mooring point available for your use. Please reach out for more details! There is plenty of space to enjoy! Even with 8 guests, you will find private space. Our guest manual at the home will provide you with the layout and details of the property as well as some of our favorite places you may wish to enjoy. Please note that there is the occasional possibility that swimming will be restricted due to the presence of algae in the lake. We will do our best to monitor the status of the lake water and notify guests of any changes. The Fingerlakes Railway runs along the Lake. 1 to 2 times daily for app. 2 minutes a train will go by the house. Children should always be supervised. Please note this home has an additional area that is not included in this listing, and will be closed off during your stay. Mo Guest access Guest access The Great Room, bottom living room and all 3 bedrooms have smart TVs and/or Roku and guests are able to login to their personal accounts to access streaming content. An attached two car garage is available for guests to use allowing easy access into the home. Two short staircases lead you to 200 ft of private lakefront, green lawn, a resting shed, dock and fire pit. It truly is a Sanctuary! The Fingerlakes Railway runs along the Lake. 1 to 2 times daily for app. 2 minutes a train will go by the house. Children should always be supervised. Other things to note Other things to note- We provide kayaks, a canoe, and oars for your use during your stay. Life jackets are available, however, families with small children should bring child safety devices specific for their child. Please note that there is the occasional possibility that swimming will be restricted due to the presence of algae in the lake. We will do our best to monitor the status of the lake water and notify guests of any changes. We have the property professionally treated for insects & pests, but please note that small bugs like gnats may still make an appearance. There is a mooring point off the dock to anchor boats. If you are interested in using a boat, jet ski or other watercraft during your stay, please speak to the hosts for permission. There is a lakefront fire pit to enjoy each evening! We will provide one nights worth of firewood upon arrival. Additional firewood is available upon request for an additional fee. A hot tub on the lower deck offers an amazing view of the lake while you relax. Guests are free to walk along the lake trail or simply lay on a blanket next to the water. Lawn chairs are provided both on the upper deck and down by the water. A lakeside shed has a sectional sofa for relaxing with windows overlooking the lake. Outdoor games & water floats can be found in the shed. During spring & summer months, lawn service occurs on Fridays, and garbage is collected on Thursdays.
