Books in French and English line the two living rooms while the dining room invites guests to linger. Steep stairs lead to the three second-floor bedrooms, and a small sitting room invites one to curl up with a good book or watch the Smart TV. Part of a larger 71-acre property designated as a wildlife refuge, deer, wild turkey, fox, and porcupines are common, as is an abundance of native birds that change with the seasons. The woods and blueberry fields that surround make for a natural play space of beauty. A pergola and patio provide café-table seating perfect for a quiet morning coffee or afternoon hors d'oeuvres. The fire pit is just steps beyond. Guest access Guests have access to the entire house and property except any locked spaces, including the woodshed, basement, pantry, and attic beyond the bunk bedroom. These are private areas for owner-use only. The old barn awaits restoration and is strictly off-limits.
