Every day is a holiday at this lovely cottage on iconic Walloon Lake. Located just outside of Walloon Lake Village, the Cabana is perfectly situated to all that Northern Michigan has to offer. Take a short walk down to the dock to swim in the Caribbean blue waters of Walloon, sun on the dock under the big red umbrella, or sip coffee on the covered porch while it rains. The space The Cabana is built for total comfort and spending time with friends and loved ones. The home has a large living room with a gas fireplace, a separate dining room that sits 8 to 10 people, and a large kitchen filled with all the cooking utensils you'll need. Two bedrooms with comfortable queen beds and one bath are located on the first floor, while the second floor has a full bath with a tub, two bedrooms with queen beds, and one bunk room with four single beds. The home is not directly located on the water but is a short walk (about 100 quick steps) down to your private dock. Guest access Guests have full access to the cottage when staying at The Cabana. Other things to note The Cabana is a 15-minute drive from downtown Petoskey and 5 minutes from downtown Boyne City where you'll find beautiful scenery, local shopping for all ages, and wonderful dining. For all the snowbirds, the home is located 10 minutes from Boyne Mountain and 30 minutes to the Highlands and Nubs Nob. Snowmobile trails are many, including right outside the front door and five minutes away near Walloon Lake Village. In the summer, rental boats can only be securely tied to the dock during the day. There are no overnight accommodations.
