Snuggle up with your favorite person or pet in this tiny cabin in the woods. A comfortable bed, mini woodstove, solar generator and composting toilet are all inside! Get cozy in the Maine woods, but stay close enough for cell service and a quick trip to the store. Outside the cabin there are 100 acres of trails for you to hike, ski /snowshoe. In the warmer months, use the canoe, kayaks, or paddleboards and go fishing! Great spot to connect with each other and disconnect from everything else. The space The cabin is tiny but has everything you need for a relaxing get away! Comfortable full size mattress in the loft, clean, simple to use composting toilet inside the cabin, kitchen supplies, solar power for charging and lights, and a perfect little wood stove to keep you cozy! Outside is a fire pit, with plenty of wood, and trails to the dock for paddling or fishing! On the property is a destination hike to “the pub” which is lit by solar lights and includes a high top table, hammock and chimenea. It’s a fun date night space. New activities include: Pizzeria in the woods (woodfired oven and table for two) and Axe Throwing Target (with axes and directions). We purchased the property in 2022 and it is a work in progress. There are currently 2 cabins, a dock in the water, and approximately 1.5 miles of trails. We are building a Tiny Office near the road which will (hopefully) be complete in the Spring of 2024. The office will bring WIFI service to Maybelle and Roxie and includes a guest restroom with a shower and (hopefully) by Fall 2024, a hot tub! We are always looking for feedback and suggestions! Guest access Guests will have access to the entire 100 acres of hiking trails, dock, 2 single kayaks, 1 tandem kayak, 2 canoes and 2 paddle boards. They may enjoy the pub, axe throwing and the pizza oven. Other things to note The number of guests is set to 3 for parents of small children, there's only one bed. There's room for a pack-and-play or sleeping mat. We also have an inflatable twin bed set up! Just let us know if you’d like it left for you!
