Comfortable and cozy mountaintop home with peaceful mountain views and a hot tub is only 6 minutes drive to Hunter Mountain and 14 minutes to Windham Mountain, surrounded by the beautiful nature of the Catskills. This is the perfect home for a family or friends getaway with plenty of space for everyone to enjoy themselves. Note that this is not a party house and we ask you that you keep noise to a minimum. This is a home to appreciate the tranquility of the country. The space This house is a place to enjoy the peacefulness and tranquility of nature. There's a beautiful mountain view, and the sounds of nature are wonderful to listen to. This is the perfect house for a family or small group of friends to enjoy the serenity of the mountains. In the top floor of this 2-story house there are 4 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms (one has a tub) and a kitchen and living space with access to a large deck with a beautiful view of the pond and the mountains. Please note that only the living room, King and Queen bedrooms have AC units installed and that the other 2 bedrooms may get hot on the more hot and humid days. Closing the curtain and opening doors and windows to enable a cross breeze can help, and we also provide a couple of portable fans. The lower level is geared towards family fun and entertainment. You will find a 55 inch smart TV with reclining seats, a Mortal Kombat arcade, a giant connect-4 game, other board games and a pool table (it is not regulation size). The 3rd bathroom is also located here. And just outside there is a hot tub for 5 people, and a fire pit further down closer to the pond. Firewood and kindling for the fire pit and the fireplace can be purchased at the Tops grocery store in Tannersville, about 10 minutes away, and you're welcome to use any leftover wood left by previous guests. In addition to all the house amenities there is also plenty to do in the neighboring towns, including all sorts of winter activities at Hunter and Windham mountains, swimming at the nearby lakes, hiking, restaurants and more. We have plenty of parking in the asphalt driveway and the house is equipped with an electric car charger for your convenience. Guest access You'll have access the entire house and its grounds, and there's no swimming allowed in the pond. Other things to note Although we are on a rural road we do have a neighbor at the far edge of our land which is bordered by trees. Please observe the quiet hours of 10pm -9am.
