This spacious two bedroom apartment in the small town of Broadway, VA is well stocked for your stay and offers stunning views. You will be 10 miles from Harrisonburg - home of EMU, JMU and many dining options- and close to Shenandoah National Park, hiking trails, five local caverns, vineyards and cideries, and other popular destinations. Toys, games, and books available to keep the whole family entertained! The space This apartment is in the lower level of our home and offers an open floor plan. The large main bedroom includes a queen bed, ample closet space and a stunning view. There are two twin beds in the small second bedroom with an available dresser. The large kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to make your own meals. We provide a selection of hot beverage options including tea, hot chocolate, and fair trade coffees (with cream and sugar). The laundry room includes unscented laundry detergent for your use. Enjoy the sweeping view of the valley and mountains from the private patio. There is a private entrance (keyless entry), WiFi and designated workspace, and one flat screen Roku TV in the living area. Off-street parking accommodates multiple vehicles. We are located 45 minutes from both the Thornton Gap and Swift Run entrances to Shenandoah National Park, and 35 minutes from Luray Caverns. Several other caverns are a 10-20 minute drive. Multiple vineyards and cideries are 10-30 minutes from our house. And if you are here to visit or attend events at EMU or JMU you'll have a beautiful 15-25 minute drive. Guest access The apartment and patio are private spaces and are accessible via keyless entry. Guests are welcome to use the yard area and basketball net. These spaces are shared spaces with our family. Other things to note Please note that our living space is above the apartment. As an active family of 4 you will hear us in the mornings and evenings moving dining chairs, practicing music, etc. and may see us gardening and playing in the yard. We are careful to be quiet after 9 p.m. You will also hear the water pump running throughout the day. The pump is located in the laundry room so keeping the door closed helps minimize the noise.
