A short drive or walk to downtown & Mackinac Island ferries with the ability to view the Saturday night fireworks from the front porch. A quick hop on I-75 North to head to Tahquamenon Falls, Soo Locks, Oswald's Bear Ranch or Edmund Fitzgerald museum at Whitefish Point. A short jaunt down US-2 will lead you to the Deer Ranch, Mystery Spot, Garyln Zoo or Cut River Bridge The space Just a quick word on the measures we are currently taking regarding this time and the COVID-19 virus. After every guest stay we are disinfecting all heavy traffic surfaces (door knobs, faucets, remotes, cabinet handles, fridge handles, etc). Also all linen, whether used or not, is washed, sanitized, and changed. We are doing all we can to ensure your stay is a safe stay. If you need anything else please don't hesitate to ask. We installed a washer and dryer for guest use. We will include with your stay 4 washer detergent tabs and 1 dryer sheet. We offer an entire three bedroom, one bath house located in a quiet, relaxing neighborhood complete with a large backyard along with a gas fire pit and deck. Two bedrooms feature queen beds and flat screen TVs while the third bedroom is complete with two twin beds. A large, well stocked modern kitchen with dishes to bake, heat a frozen pizza, make some spaghetti , or just relax in with a glass of wine. Along with a comfy living room with amble seating, a flat screen TV and DVD player is perfect for everyone to enjoy a quiet evening after a day of exploring all of the amazing wonders the Eastern Upper Peninsula has to offer. Home is located directly across the street from the ORV trail that cuts through Saint Ignace. Super easy access! Just hop on the road and ride less than 1/2 mile north to hit the main trail. Just a note: however, there are only 2 spaces, side by side, in the driveway, and there is no parking on the road in the winter due to snowplows. There is space in front of the driveway for trailers, as well as space in town if you need to store a trailer. The most used space is Little Bear Arena, which is just a couple blocks from the house. Their parking lot is used by many for day trips through the many snowmobile trails located here in the Eastern Upper Peninsula. If you have any questions about this, please feel free to ask.
