Situated in the back of our home property, this quiet and welcoming space is designed with your privacy in mind. It offers easy access yet is secluded and private and makes a wonderful urban getaway. The casita has a full kitchen and dining area that can double as a working space. For your entertainment, there is a sitting area with a Bluetooth speaker, wall-mounted TV, Roku, and a DVD player with a variety of DVDs. At the end of the day (or the beginning) enjoy a hot shower or a long luxurious soak in the steeping tub. Turn in at night in the expansive and very comfortable king-sized bed. New construction, systems, and appliances mean you’ll be cozy on the chilliest of nights while staying cool in the summer. As hosts, we go the extra mile to ensure a comfortable stay and that your expectations are exceeded. Located just 8 minutes from the airport, one mile from I-25, 11 blocks from the Albuquerque Convention Center, three blocks from Central Ave (Historic Route 66), and minutes from UNM, you will find yourself close to everything you need for your stay in Albuquerque. Note to our Balloon Fiesta guests. The casita is 13 miles from Fiesta Park. Guests often drive to the park with varying reports of traffic conditions. We often ride our bikes to the park to avoid car traffic. There is a continuous dedicated bike trail 0.7 miles from the casita that goes directly to the bike valet at Fiesta Park. Guest access • The casita has a private alley entrance and access to a private attached courtyard. • The entrance is equipped with a lockbox for picking up/dropping off keys at your convenience. Check-in is after 3pm; Check-out by 11am. • One off-street parking space is reserved for guests. Other things to note • Pets are not allowed in the casita. • This property is not suited for children. • Owners live on the property. • The casita is situated in a quiet, safe, and diverse neighborhood between the zoo and downtown.
