Checkout the Volcano! You won’t want to leave this charming, one-of-a-kind place in the rain forest. The space This is a multi-unit property. Each room has its own entrance and is private from the other rooms with a shared outdoor hot tub. As you pull up to this grand cedar style home you are immediately greeted by a beautiful rain forest that feels calming and relaxing. The room is located near the parking area which makes it convenient for off-loading. As you enter you have two large windows that look out to the beautiful native rain forest. Immediately you feel like you are in a tree house or forest retreat, complete tranquility. It is an open concept room with a complete kitchen stocked with cooking essentials such as pots, pans, dishes, utensils, electric cooking burner, microwave, mini fridge, toaster oven, and even a griddle for cooking pancakes in the morning. A dinning room table for family dinners while admiring your very own Hawai'i rain forest. The room has a memory foam queen bed , a single bed and sofa couch with a pull-out bed for extra guests. There is a private bathroom complete with toiletries. A wall mounted TV for those that want to relax and watch a movie. Take a walk down the gravel pathway surrounded by native Ohi'a trees and Hapu'u plants hovering over you like an umbrella of nature. Enjoy a dip in the hot tub after a day of exploring as you relax in the cool Volcano mist. Visitors come to the Big Island to explore the volcano and beautiful black sand beaches. The Volcano National Park is located about 2 miles down the road. Take a four wheel drive up Mauna Kea and visit the second largest mountain in the world or take a drive down to Waipi'o Valley to take a refreshing dip in the ocean as you visit the Valley of the Kings. Cruise around the island in a day and see what this "Big island" has to offer. **This property is on water catchment which is not suitable for drinking or cooking. Drinking water is provided. Guest access The hot tub is located down the rainforest pathway to the back. It is shared with other guests. Other things to note Volcano has lots of great restaurants like Lava Rock, Thai Thai Bistro & Bar, Tuk-Tuk Thai Foodtruck, and The Rim (located in the National Park). Please note that most restaurants in Volcano are closed on Mondays so you may need to travel to Keaau or Hilo which is about a 30-45 minute commute. There are a few convenient stores in the area for supplies and groceries. Our water source comes from a water catchment so it is not for cooking and drinking. Drinking water is provided. Owner resides on the property in a separate unit.
