Gilbo's Landing is the perfect getaway for families and friends, a family home that we are sharing with others to enjoy. The house is located just about a mile outside of the village's Main Street and the Metronorth train station, near Boscobel Gardens. It is a 15 minute drive to Beacon and a 25 minute drive to West Point Academy. With a fire place, a wood burning stove and an outdoor fireplace, this cozy 4 bedroom Cold Spring home truly is the perfect gateway to Hudson Valley. The space The house is close to the village of Cold Spring/Metronorth Train Station. It is within walking distance but it is a 20 minute walk and part of it along the shoulder of Route 9D. While close to town, our house is set in private, quiet street. The house has 4 bedrooms- 3 with queen beds, 1 with a twin bed. A toddler bed, sleeping mats, and cots are available to use upon request. The kitchen is fully equipped. There are two dining areas that seat 4. There are two living rooms- a main living room with a fireplace, and a cozy family room with a TV, record player, and a wood burning stove. Off the family room is a playroom that has its own TV for kids. Central heat throughout the home. Central AC is only available for one section of the house (kitchen, 1 queen bedroom, the twin bedroom and living room). Outdoors, there is a patio area with an outdoor fireplace and couch, dining area, and a charcoal grill. The house has plenty of parking and an EV charger. Note: The pool is currently CLOSED for 2024. The deck off the kitchen is temporarily closed for repairs. Guest access Getting in is super easy- there will be a code for the front door. Code will be provided 2 days before reservation.
