Come visit Stowe with all the comforts of home. This home has everything you need to relax and ski, shred, snowshoe, mtn bike, gravel ride or hike. In Winter, we are mins from Stowe Mtn, Von Trapp Family lodge, Main St. Stowe. Epic Sledding right across the street!. Climb or hike in the backcountry thru Smugglers notch! Float or kayak the little river 5 minutes away! We have WiFi, apple tv, wood fireplace, AC, fire pit, EV charger, hot tub, swings and a trampoline The space This is a cozy home with modern flare, and an open design. You can enter either through the entry way or attached garage equipped with an EV charger for your electric vehicle. Then to a little mudroom with hooks and bins and closet space. Into the main living area, see huge beautiful windows and vaulted ceiling in the living room, that let the sunshine in now matter how cold it is out there. Our kitchen, is small but mighty. It is very efficient and works surprisingly well larger groups. We have every appliance imaginable that can be left for you at your request. We usually leave all our spices and access to our pantry incase you forgot anything. You can have use of our new iMac and printer for any desk work or backcountry/ biking research that needs to be done :) We also have a high quality digital piano if the kids needs to practice or you feel like playing. Our tasteful decor, and super comfortable beds make for the best night sleep after a day of playing and getting after it! We can also leave you our equipment for an outdoor movie night complete with projector and projector screen and necessary cables. Wake up to watch the falling snow from the many windows and large bay window in the Master Bedroom/bath on the main floor. It has a pretty view of the pond and the sunrise. It also has luxurious cozy earth bedding, a wonderful temperpedic mattress, high quality down duvet, and pillows. Guests are welcome to use our Peloton Tread and Peloton Bike, exercise ball, and free weights when the weather is not cooperating or when you want to burn extra calories for Apres! 3 bedrooms, laundry and a bath are located downstairs. One of them technically isn't a bedroom because its a small window (best sleeping room in the house) but lacks an egress window. Nevertheless, it is a small bedroom with a closet and also has a 10’ desk that can be used as another more private office space. The other two bedrooms boast large patio doors that flood the spaces with light. One bedroom would be perfect for kids, as there are twin bunk beds, toys, books, Legos. The beds have Memory foam mattress toppers and comfy mattresses. We have a high end auto set up framed king air mattress that can be used next to the bunk beds if you need to sleep 9. The last bedroom has an amazing Sterns and foster Mattress, feather bed, deluxe 800 fill power down duvet, and Anthropologie bedding. A fun sensory swing that swings from the ceiling can be left out at your request. We use a nook of the garage as our mudroom and to keep our winter snow and biking gear, so you will see that, and we just ask that you kindly respect our stuff. We would like to treat you like good friends who are just staying at our place while we are gone. This place is awesome for adult gatherings but also for the kids! As such, we do have some skis and snowboard equipment, as well as bikes, kayaks, one wheels, paddleboard, bball hoop, trampoline, hammock, fire pit, and hot tub! A serious slip and slide can be left out at your request as well. Add Dawn dish detergent for a wilder ride! There is plenty of parking in the driveway. Black Bear run is a friendly, quiet neighborhood that was designed to make each house feel very private. Stowe is the most beautiful place in the Summer! There are so many fun things to do. Go hike the Pinnacle, or venture up to the notch and hike Sterling Pond trail to the look out! Do some world class climbing and bouldering, or go on an epic Gravel ride! Do yoga on the outdoor platform at Von Trapps Family lodge, or take in the incredible beauty while walking through their flower garden. Kayak the Waterbury reservoir (put in 5 mins way) and see bald, eagles, herons, turtles, beavers, mongoose and more! If you are here for Mountain biking it will not disappoint! Ride the Cady Hill, Trapps, Adams Camp, or Waterworks networks all right in town here. There is everything from beginner to advanced. Flow to tech and some amazing new features up at Adams camp. Head 20 mins south to ride Perry Hill in Waterbury, for some awesome drops and rock rolls. If you want to take it easy, take your bikes or one of the one wheels to the Stowe rec path. One of our favorite things to do is to ride the rec path, go to one of the many swimming holes in the river on the way, and then head to the Stowe institution of Picasso for dinner. But all the restaurants in Stowe are amazing. Other fun and chill things to do: There is a big field and pond right across the street from our house, visible from the living room. You can have family football, lax, or soccer games, RC cars, airplanes, as you watch the sun go down. In the winter it’s an epic sledding hill! You can join in the fun or You can send the kids out there and then call them for dinner when you are done grilling or soaking in the hot tub. Or you can watch the kids jump on the trampoline as you do dishes and cook dinner through the kitchen window. In winter, Stowe Mtn is just 15 mins away for lift serve turns, but plenty of skinning trails are in the backcountry up the notch road. Snowshoeing and cross country trails are all through out the woods here, right behind the house, but there are also shire rivaling forest trails at Weissner Woods up Mountain road and Kirchner Woods in the Hollow. Everything about this house is set up for enjoying time together and having fun. This is our primary home, so our stuff will be locked in the closets. However, there will be a set of drawers in each room for your belongings. We leave the entry way closet empty for hanging space if that is needed. Other things to note Our Vacation House is strategically located. It provides easy access to numerous attractions, including but not limited to: - Cady Hill Forest which is 4.2 miles away - Bolton Valley Resort at 18 miles - Trapp Family Lodge at 4.7 miles - Sunset Rock at 3.7 miles and many other places to visit around the area!
