Easily connect with highspeed fiber optic WiFi while immersing yourself in nature. Close to restaurants & shops in lovely Newcastle/Damariscotta. Truly an oasis! The space The home is 4 years new. It's an open concept kitchen, living room, dining room, with sliders out to the deck and garden, just steps from the water. The first floor bedroom off the living room offers convenient one-floor living if needed. The full bath on the first floor has a double shower head, full-size washer & dryer. On the second floor, there’s a master bedroom with walk-in dressing room, full bath with tub, another bedroom, and a common area - great for yoga or playing games. This is a comfortable, easy home! Guest access Guests will have access to the whole house. Other things to note Just steps from the Damariscotta Mills Fish Ladder, this is a bird-lovers' paradise. You'll see eagles and osprey diving for alewives (from early-May to late June). There's truly a spectacle of nature right from the back door, with gorgeous sunrises and sunsets to enjoy. 2 kayaks and a canoe are available for guest use - after signing a waiver of responsibility. We have a few life preservers, but to ensure a perfect fit, you might want to bring your own. Please note, no kayaking in the immediate area right at our water’s edge from April 20-June 20, by state law, protected for the alewife migration. You can put kayaks in just down the road or up at the lake. Please ask if you have any questions.
