Feel free to make a fresh breakfast in the morning before heading out for the day. The space The in-law suite is a classic basement apartment located below the main house. We live above with our dog, so you may hear us from time to time walking around or an occasional dog bark. If it’s ever an inconvenience please just let us know. We are also here if you need anything during your stay. Unlike many basements, the ceiling height is quite high and there is a good amount of light. It has its own entrance, completely separate from the upstairs and includes all of the amenities you'll need for a comfortable stay. There is 1 separate bedroom with a queen sized bed. The other bed is a pull-out full sized sofa bed, part of the open living area and a fully equipped kitchen supplied with everything you need (pots, pans, knives, etc.) to stay in and cook. Located in Wynnefield (a very quiet suburb of West Philadelphia), you are within walking distance to public transportation and a short ride to produce/grocery stores, shopping, pharmacies (CVS), 7-Eleven, Post Office, Restaurants, Gas Stations, Banks, Liquor stores, Library, and Dunkin Donuts. We have a little bit of everything! St. Joseph's University is 2 blocks away. For those driving, there is a private driveway that conformably fits one vehicle. Inside of the unit, there is a locked door connecting the laundry room and a stairwell leading to the upper living quarters that are not accessible to Guests. If ever it is too loud, do not hesitate to let us know and we will certainly keep it down. Guest access You have a private entrance in the rear of the house and full access to the private suite. Self check-in with a Yale Smart Lock entry. An Access Code will be sent to you 12-24 hours before check-in.
