Jump into the lake for a swim, or use one of the kayaks or pedal boat to explore the serene Robinson Pond, a lake with no motorized boats over 10mph and beaches. Explore year-round activities in the area at: Copake Lake to golf or rent a motor boat (5 min), Catamount Mountain Resort to ski in winter or zipline in summer (15 min), or Bash Bish state park for a hike to a waterfall (15 min). The space Beautiful large home with wide open rooms and designed with posts and beams to give it that classic cozy cabin feel. The main level includes an open space kitchen, dining and living room that centers around the fireplace, a half bath, and a cozy den with wood paneling and a wall of windows looking out over the lake below. Sliding doors take you out to a large deck with a dining and bbq area, and a sunroom to sit in the shade while looking out onto the lake. Downstairs there are two bedrooms that share a bathroom, and a washer/dryer in the utility area. Sliding doors from one of the bedrooms or a door from the hallway will take you out onto the lower deck area with a hot tub that seats four, and two hammocks to relax in the shade and look onto the lake. Upstairs there is an expansive primary bedroom with beautiful wood paneling and A frames, windows looking out to the lake, and an en suite bathroom. Guest access Parking is limited to 3 mid sized cars maximum Other things to note This is a home located on a pond in upstate NY. The home and property is treated with pest control services for critters and insects. With this being said, you can expect wildlife to be present. There will be no refunds issued for insects, birds, critters, weather related complaints, power outages, the natural ecosystem of the water life, etc. You may expect to see beautiful dragonflies in mid to late summer, fireflies at night (quite magical), lily pads, and other beautiful wildlife that we admire so much. Please advise, no use of personal watercraft is permitted except those provided by the host already on the property. Every reservation must provide us with your email address so we can send you a Renter Agreement PDF form to fill in and send back to us. This is a requirement. Failure to fill in the form and send back to us with a minimum of one day PRIOR to check in can result in nonrefundable cancellation of your reservation. Absolutely no parties are allowed. Unauthorized parties will be asked to vacate the property immediately and result in cancellation of remainder of reservation.
