The space Lovely private room in our spacious home in a wooded, country retreat like setting. Safe and secluded! We are situated on 26 secluded acres bordering a land trust with hiking trails and a waterfall. Enjoy the breathtaking sunsets and the beautiful lake view. Our guests have full access to our home, including full laundry room, 1 1/2 baths, living room with 75 inch TV and fireplace, fully appointed kitchen with every gadget and appliance you might need, a beautiful tri level deck overlooking the wooded lake view, dining room, and more. We are situated in the middle of the woods in a very tranquil setting just 20 minutes from UConn, 30 minutes from Hartford, 45 minutes from Worcester and just over an hour from Boston. Guest access Full use of the house and grounds including laundry, wifi, salt water heated seasonal pool with hot tub, pool house with fridge, parking, etc. The guest room has a large walk in closet, desk, full sized bed with Temperpedic mattress, and has space for a couple of aerobeds as well. Our kitchen has everything you need, and a separate fridge is available for your use as well as full sized fridge in the poolhouse. The bathroom is fully stocked as well. Enjoy the hiking trails that start right in our yard! A lovely waterfall is just steps away in the peaceful forest. During your stay There are four of us who live in the house. Blake and Tracy are in our early 60’s, and are very laid back and welcoming. Our two young adult children are usually in their rooms when at home. You will have plenty of privacy, though we are here if you need anything! We are often out of sight in our own space. Other things to note We have a smaller dog named Archer. We tend to be night owls, so please let us know if you are a light sleeper! Longer term stays are welcome! We have hosted guests for as long as 3 months at a time.
