We're back in business after Labor Day. We lived full time in the house through the Pandemic and really enjoyed being here. Now it's your turn. The space The house can accommodate a lot of people (we like to limit it to 10), with four bedrooms, three baths, and three bonus rooms in the basement. The basement rooms have no windows and thus are not officially recognized as bedrooms. Well appointed, well furnished, and well stocked, with a handmade dining table and chairs, fireplaces and wood stoves inside, a fire pit outside, and plenty of cooking supplies for the passionate chef, this house has everything you need to forget your worries and just have a great vacation. The master was originally built as a library and has a king adjustable (and vibrating) bed. The original master (queen), another queen and two twins upstairs, a queen and two twins downstairs. We've supplied indoor and outdoor games, bikes, a full range of cooking supplies, and everything we could think of to make your stay enjoyable and memorable. Guest access Guests have access to the entire house and the almost six acre property. The back yard is fenced (galvanized wire), so dogs can roam (and all but the most dedicated, or small, wild life keeps out!). If you time things right, you can help yourselves to raspberries, blueberries, and an occasional strawberry! Other things to note The house is a special blend of remote, wooded privacy with access to amazing cultural and recreational opportunities. Because the house is so spacious -with lots of private areas both inside and out- the house is the perfect place for family gathering and fun. There are some amenities (restaurants, shops, the amazing Meisner auction house) in New Lebanon, but Pittsfield is a short drive away and has everything you could want or need. We supply bikes, lawn games, puzzles, DVDs and much more. We love our dogs and love the opportunity to travel with them, so we offer you that opportunity as well. It does cost us more to clean up the house after a pet visits, so we do ask for an additional fee and, though we know your pooch would never be destructive, our visitors are liable for any damage.
