Wifi, DirecTV, DVD player and two LCD TV's. 10 minutes from the Ohio River and Maysville, Kentucky. The space The Minton Lodge is a great place to unwind and unplug. Enjoy early mornings watching the sunrise with coffee, or late nights relaxing in the hot tub with your guests. The home is a reflection of Josh Minton, a proud veteran who loved to give back. The collections in the home are mostly those which Josh decorated himself. *** We ask that you bring a 4x4, 4WD, or AWD vehicle when traveling to the Minton Lodge. The driveway is gravel and steep, getting to/from the home can be particularly challenging in poor weather if you are not equipped with an appropriate vehicle. You can see the driveway in several of the images. *** If you are traveling with pets, we are excited to have you stay at the Minton Lodge. Since we understand that some pets may leave behind an extra mess, such as fur on the furniture, the occasional marking or stain on carpet, waste in the yard, etc, we charge a simple $35 additional cleaning fee if our house cleaning crew reports back that it was necessary to perform this additional cleaning. If you have clean, tidy animals, there shouldn't be anything to worry about. Due to the remote location of the Minton Lodge, it is possible that severe weather conditions may create a significant safety risk while traversing the driveway. In these cases, we reserve the right to reschedule or cancel (the guest's choice) the booking with minimal notice. We will do everything we can, within reason, to either accommodate for the weather, or provide notice as early as possible. Other things to note There is absolutely no hunting allowed at the property as part of your AirBNB stay. Any evidence of hunting during your stay will be reported to AirBNB. Lastly, we cannot permit any guests to bring ATVs, dirt bikes, side-by-sides, or any other motorized vehicles of this type. We understand that the Minton Lodge is perfect for this type of fun, but unfortunately our insurance won't allow for this liability.
