Owner/Occupied Beach House located in the village of Rampanalgas Balandra ,quiet fishing village on north-east coast of Trinidad. Awesome views of the Atlantic Ocean. Breathtaking sunrise and moonlight. Relaxing and peaceful environment. Location BEST suited for nature/beach /surf lovers and those that need/require R&R. We welcome all that will respect our home, environment and most importantly our babies (dogs). PLEASE Follow written directions to RICLYS. The space This large Ocean View/en-suite bedroom has two queen-sized beds. Room is located on second floor and not a self-contained apartment. Room is very spacious/cozy and well appointed. Room has Cable TV, Refrigerator (8 cubic ft), Electric kettle, Blender , Microwave, AC, Bistro seating, Dishes and a small Pantry. Games also available. There’s a jacuzzi tub located in the bathroom but regrettably, it’s UNAVAILABLE due to the constant interruptions in our water supply. Due to the surge in the Pandemic Covid 19, only two guests are allowed at this time. Guests are not permitted to smoke in room/house. Smoking allowed outside. Discard of cigarette butts in ashtrays. We have Three large babies (dogs) that live on premises. They live in our garage and will not interact or bother guests (there will be barking/ruckus when guests arrive/leave or something startled them but usually very quiet). They do bark at night as well as the neighborhood dogs. They are doing their job. Dogs are an essential part of the security/safety in Trinidad. Guest access Guests have access to main pool, outdoor Jacuzzi spa, three sun decks , rock pool (sea), outside gazebo, outdoor bathroom/ toilet , patio. Complimentary breakfast included . Our three signature breakfasts are : (1) Pumpkin Bread French Toast with easy over egg. (2) Coconut Bake , home fries with egg muffins or frittata. (3) Chocolate chip pancakes with scrambled eggs. Dietary restrictions and preferences adhered too. Pool towels available. During your stay We are friendly/laid back hosts. We strive to make our guests feel comfortable as possible. We want our guests to experience the idyllic ambiance at RicLys. Guests are given privacy, however we are always available to answer any concerns that may arrive. Other things to note Because of our Three large dogs, we do not allow young children or pets to stay at the beach house. If you are uncomfortable with the sounds of barking dogs or allergic to dogs then our B&B will not be suitable for you. Dinner can be provided for an additional fee (advance notice required). Trinidad is an island so there will be BUGS, repellent strongly recommended. Rampanalgas is a rural village so there’s no nightly activities. If you are seeking restaurants/ night life / close proximity to the city then Rampanalgas is not the village for you. We can provide A tour Guide for your Hikes. FYI.... This Beach House is a TRADITIONAL Bed and Breakfast. We the OWNERS (Ricardo and Lystra aka RICLYS) reside on premises with our Three Dogs. The HOUSE is not for RENT! We provide a complimentary breakfast but unfortunately no cooking allowed in our Kitchen. We encourage guests to bring their cooked food. There’s an outside Gazebo with a small BBQ grill where you can do light cooking. We also offer a single electric burner/electric skillet for use. Utensils provided if needed. No cooking allowed in ROOM! Riclys is constantly doing maintenance since the beach house resides on a cliff/bluff and it’s in full range of the sea residues. We don’t charge a Security Deposit, please RESPECT our property with no damages. Due to the Pandemic Covid 19 , there’s strict cleaning protocols Airbnb implemented. We now have to charge a cleaning fee of $30US. Please READ and FOLLOW written directions to our B&B. MAP is unreliable . This part of the island is Rural. There may be occasional disruption in services (power/water) due to bad weather. We do have storage water tanks. If you encounter any issues during your stay please bring to our attention ASAP! RICLYS is only AVAILABLE when we are on the island and have no Family or Friends vacationing.
