A personal favorite, this is a deluxe queen which features an en suite bathroom with a shower, sink and toilet in addition to a hanging closet. Tucked into the northwest corner of the hotel, privacy and comfort await. With windows facing in two directions, you might watch the sunset of the mountains to the west, and catch a snowy peak of the Goat Rocks in the east. This is one of nine unique rooms and suites named for nearby hiking trails. Hotel Packwood has two main floors and an old-west covered wrap-around porch. Eight of the guest rooms and suites are on the second floor, with the ninth in the adjacent ground level cabin. There are no elevators, and all second floor rooms and suites are accessed by stairs. Five suites have private bathrooms with showers. Four rooms have two shared bathrooms with showers off the second floor hall. Because maximum capacity for each room is two people, there are no cots or cribs available at this time. Amenities include free wifi, thoughtfully sourced plush towels, luxury bedding, two types of pillows, soft Comphy robes, luggage racks, Public Goods products and hairdryers. Full length room-darkening curtains insulate for sound and temperature so you can sleep deeply. Additional toiletry items are available upon request (toothbrush, toothpaste, floss, insect repellant, q-tips, emery boards, personal feminine items). A landline phone is located in the lobby if guests need to make a local call.
