This stone and plaster three-bedroom, two-bath house was built in 1900, but the interior is thoroughly modern, warm and sunny. Situated of a half-acre lot, you will have access to a large green yard, an abundance of highly coveted off-street parking, and a patio dining area. There are two security cameras mounted on top of the side and back doors, pointing out to the main & side entrances, driveway and backyard, and they will be recording 24/7 for safety purposes. Other things to note Wild & wonderful isn’t just a motto here in Harpers Ferry. We are adjacent to the national park protected wilderness area, and the wildlife hasn’t heard about property lines yet! You may see wild animals on the property during your stay. In the early morning and late afternoon, deer will stroll over from the national park to graze on our grass. Possum and raccoon will roam the alleys looking for a snack. You may even see a snake or two or a big bug. These critters are all part of our ecosystem and we treat them with respect and caution. Like the old adage says, “look but don’t touch,” but our furry friends do make pretty good photo subjects.
