Working power, Filtered Well water, and WIFi The town of Mars Hill and my neighborhood experienced minimal wind and flooding issues and is mostly up and running. It can still be a 15 min wait for gas but Ingles is now accepting cards and so are the gas stations. 2 miles to downtown Mars Hill & the University w/ a coffee shop, restaurants, museums, a brewery & shopping 25 min to Asheville center 1/2 mile from Bailey Mountain Preserve, w/ miles of beautiful hiking/running trails The space Meant to feel like a grandma’s homeplace. 1950s house with great natural light in a calm country setting. Kitchen + dinning area w/ large open doorway to living room 3 downstairs bedrooms share a hallway in the back of the house. There is 1 bedroom upstairs on the same side of the house. Nice view of Mars Hill's famous Bailey Mountain in the winter, wonderfully shady yard in the summer. Guest access The key will be in the lock box on the banister for the door to the right of the patio. If you arrive after dark, the big twinkle lights will be on at the patio and visible from the road. When you come to the driveway, the most visible mail box will say 651 on it. the house is UP that driveway to the right. Other things to note Smoking allowed outside only. The house is surrounded by nice neighbors who are mostly retired and they "like it quiet."
