There is a washer & dryer combo just for you 15 minutes from the airports The space - You are looking at the fully furnished, brand new, one-bedroom modern apartment located on the first floor of the new secure, gated, and peaceful residential development in the southern part of Zanzibar called Fumba. - This is a great vacation or work-from-home (Work from Zanzibar ) sport with the view of the Indian Ocean from your balcony, high-speed Fiber Optic Internet, 55 inches smart TV, a washer and dryer, Air Conditioners, a kitchen with a high-quality kitchenette, etc that will make you feel at home. - There is queen size bed in the master bedroom and a sofa bed in the living room, the kitchen is fully equipped with high-quality imported kitchenware including a microwave oven, rice cooker, coffee maker, portable dishwasher, and so on. There is a Memory Foam mattress topper that you can put on top of the regular mattress if you wish to sleep on the soft mattress. There is also a safe box, where you can store your valuable items. There is a washer & dryer combo just for you – you can also dry your laundry on the rooftop of the building where there are dry lines. - You will also be provided with laundry soap (5 pods of Tide per week – depending on availability, otherwise, you will be provided with powder laundry detergent), coffee, cooking oil, shampoo, and bath soap as complimentary. - The apartment is located just 15 minutes from Stone Town, 20 Minutes from all the major airports, and 90 minutes from Nungwi, Kendwa or Jambiani beaches. Where you’ll be - This is a brand new, gated, modern, and secure residential development located in the southern part of Zanzibar called Fumba. - The community is a little bit far from tourist activities and it is surrounded by the villages of fishermen and farmers. We are 15 Minutes from the International Airport, 20 minutes from Stone Town, and 90 minutes from Nungwi or Jambiani beaches. - There are three restaurants in the complex serving different kinds of food. - The community has occasional evening events, movie nights, and farmers' markets on some weekends. - There is a commercial center that is fully operational with retail shops, a medical facility, and a food court. - The community is very diverse, with residents from more than 90 nationalities. - There is also a playground, where the kids can enjoy outdoor activities. - There is a walking path along the Indian Ocean, where you can walk, or bike while chatting with the fishermen from the village. - There is also an online store, Fumba Online Store, where you can order anything from meats, and vegetables to household essentials and they will deliver them to you. - There are also small groceries stores outside the complex, a 15 – 20 minutes walk. Guest access - You will have to present your apartment ID (we will provide one) at the main gate in order to be allowed into the complex. - There is a smart lock on your apartment and you will enter the apartment using a code that we will provide you with. - You can access the whole unit, parking space, restaurants, a health care clinic, and the beach. - The beach is not suitable for swimming due to the rocks (it is okay for quick swimming) but there are many beaches nearby. Things to do around Fumba town - You can hang out at Kwetu Kweny Chill restaurant, which has a nice sunset deck and beach bar facing the Indian Ocean (check the images). - There are many restaurants in the complex serving different kinds of food and delivery services. - There is a laundromat and dry cleaning service on site. - There is a 24/7 hours clinic and dental office on site. - The community has occasional evening events and farmers' markets during some weekends. - There is also a playground, where the kids can enjoy outdoor activities. - There is a walking path along the Indian Ocean, where you can walk, or bike while chatting with the fishermen from the village.
