Appointed with almost all exclusively unique vintage items, every furnishing was hand selected with care and we hope to offer more special details than typical hosts with unique touches throughout the entire place. The main floor comprises the spacious Living Room, large kitchen, dining area, three bedrooms and the bathroom, with the hidden lounge below the unit in the fieldstone-structure basement, down a steep flight of carpeted stairs. Vivacious Secret Victorian Lounge: an original 1895 vintage lounge setting situated in the basement of the unit, finished with many unique and period pieces, will be a perfect setting to relax and enjoy a N/A spritzer or convivial spirit with friends and family; make yourselves at home in the uniquely styled space, with period pieces from all around the world in this special, hidden space; a true Milwaukee gem. Pets are not allowed in the lounge area as it is carpeted. Be careful as you descend as the stairs are all original and very steep! We do allow pets for a $50 pet fee. You must disclose that you are bringing a pet upon booking - you can do so by adding pets in the same location where you add the number of guests to your booking. Pets allowed on main floor only. Glitter, confetti, feathers, or any other loose party decorations are not allowed. Guest access Guests have access to the entire space, however the back of the home is not part of the unit and is reserved for the carriage house in the rear. Rear exit is for emergency usage only. Other things to note Great neighborhood, many walking distance restaurants, bars and things to do. (all taxidermy is from the secondary market and does not contribute to or enable further hunting of these beautiful creatures) Due to the exponential increases of parties’ incidences since COVID-19 restrictions, Airbnb countered with a complete global ban on all parties and events hosted in Airbnb rentals and a hard cap of 16 guests. As of August 20, 2020, this ban is under effect and will be indefinite until further notice. Airbnb community standards also prohibit Airbnb members from creating a nuisance to their surrounding neighborhoods. Airbnb expects hosts and guests to honor this standard and the policy prohibitions including: Gathering that exceeds 16 people All disruptive events and parties Airbnb recommends the use of a noise monitor system, and we have installed one of their recommended systems which allows for guest notification if noise levels are at a level that could disturb neighbors.
