The space BOATERS: The gravel driveway leads all the way to the lake. It is designed for boats to be able to be launched from the driveway. However, this is dependent upon the water level, which can fluctuate at the immediate shoreline. When water levels are lower, it will make launching a boat more difficult & potentially not possible. The lower the water level, the more vegetation is present. The property is in a bay & water depth is around 4-6'. During the summer months, vegetation will be present at shore & around the dock. You can bring your own boat or rent one locally. If the water level does not allow you to launch your boat from the driveway, you can launch at Father Hennepin State Park which is about 1 mile from the property. You can also choose from several other boat launches in Isle or Wahkon. Feel free to reach out to the host about lake levels before booking, if desired. Being able to launch a boat from the driveway is not guaranteed. Kayaks & canoes are great options that work well in the bay! There is a pedal boat available for guests that can hold 4-6 people. Life jackets required & provided for guests. SWIMMERS: This property is located in a bay with lake levels around 4-6' in depth. The bottom of the lake in the immediate shore area is mucky & not recommended for walking on while in the water. During the summer months, vegetation will be present at shore & around the dock. This makes swimming more difficult & sometimes not possible at all. Although swimming is allowed, these conditions don't make it ideal at this property. There is a nice sandy beach about 1 mile away at Father Hennepin State Park for a great swimming experience! There is a pedal boat available for guests that can hold 4-6 people. Life jackets required & provided for guests.
