Nestled in the quiet countryside between Middlebury and Shipshewana, our luxurious, private apartment is the perfect place to recharge on your next getaway to Amish country. We offer a fully furnished kitchen, including a sink, refrigerator, stove/oven and microwave. Whether you plan to stay in and cook, order in or eat out you will love the options this space offers. Included is a large outdoor space with a pergola, firepit, swing and hammock for the ultimate relaxing experience. The space Enjoy a luxurious retreat in Amish country! This is an apartment in a separate shop/building away from the house. With 980+ square feet, this spacious apartment has a gorgeous sunroom with a hammock so you can relax while soaking up the rays or make use of the desk and enjoy the sun while you work. We offer free wifi. Bedroom: There is a large bedroom with a comfortable queen bed, an alarm clock with a noise machine, and USB outlets to charge your electronics. Bathroom: The spacious bathroom is fully stocked with shampoo, body wash, a hairdryer and plenty of towels/washcloths for your stay. There is bathtub/shower combination, with a removable shower head. Living Room: The living room is furnished with a full size sofa and a love seat that is a hide-a-bed with a new memory foam mattress. There is a 50” LG Smart TV with access to popular local and cable channels. You will also be able to access your own streaming services such at Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime Video, etc. We have also provided a DVD player with some DVD’s, games, and books for your enjoyment. Kitchen: Fully furnished kitchen with a refrigerator, stove/oven, microwave, dishwasher and coffee maker, mixer and popcorn popper, along with pots, pans and utensils. Laundry: There is an iron/iron board for your use. There is also a washer and dryer. Backyard: Our backyard has wide open spaces to for you to enjoy. We have a newly installed pergola, firepit with chairs, swing, and hammock for the ultimate relaxing experience. Your kids are welcome to make use of the trampoline. Feel free to walk around the yard. We may be working outside/in the garden and would love to chat with you, but we also want to give you the privacy you want. We have 2 friendly Golden Retrievers, but their fence does not allow them access to the front door of the apartment. If you come into the yard however, they will be more than happy to greet you. You will be less than 5 minutes from Middlebury which boasts Das Dutchman Essenhaus restaurant, the Pumpkinvine bike trail, 15 minutes from Shipshewana which is known for its Flea Market, shops and Blue Gate Theater; 25 minutes from some great shopping centers in Goshen; and being located just minutes from the toll road, only 45 minutes from Notre Dame. Guest access Parking is located in the driveway in front of the shop.
