Welcome to River Bend just miles from Great Sacandaga Lake! Our cozy private cabin is nestled in the rolling foothills of the Adirondack Mountains. Enjoy the peaceful sounds of Beecher Creek as it moves through the pines that surround the cabin. Enjoy life on the covered porch and enjoy all 4 seasons from the relaxing hot tub. Great for couples, families or fun getaways. The space The cabin has two bedrooms with one queen bed and two full beds. The master bedroom features a queen bed with a closet and a desk for remote work, laptops or journaling. The second bedroom has two full beds and a closet. The loft is up the ladder in the living room and is a fun space for kids to hang out with a swinging chair and some bean bags. The loft has sturdy railings for safety. The bathroom offers all the necessities - toilet, shower with a new rain shower head, sink, and plenty of fresh towels. Newly added fireplace stove (propane) to make it even more cozy! For those that need their data, their devices, their work and their streaming -- we have piping fast high-speed WiFi that can support multiple streaming devices as well as video teleconferencing and remote work. The cabin is just two miles from Great Sacandaga Lake with access to several public beaches and boat launches! Great Sacandaga Lake is one of the largest and most beautiful lakes in New York and is similar in size to its more famous, but more busy cousin Lake George which is 50 mins away. Take a day off and head out for a scenic drive as the road hugs the turns around the many cabins that dot the shoreline of Great Sacandaga. While at the cabin, sit back, close your eyes and listen to Beecher Creek as it winds itself past the cabin on three sides. For your security and ours, we do have one security camera by the front door - this camera covers the front driveway, front door and some of the front yard. There are no other cameras on the property. Other things to note In winter- you will need four wheel drive or AWD. The driveway is plowed and sanded however some hills are icy. Due to the size of the cabin; only 4 adults max are allowed. 5 capacity max with children.
