Welcome to our Tiny houses! Fun and Young 2 story wooden house with a footprint of just 4 x 6 meters, tiny but functional. You have a small electric kitchen, living area, bathroom and a patio with an hammock on the GROUND floor, bedroom and a balcony on the SECOND floor! We packed all you need in the smaller space we could! Targeted for young and easy traveler, you will feel like staying in a doll house out of a fable. These houses are in our vegetable garden where you can pick up what we grow. The space Just 2 minutes walk to Mertasari Beach we have our 3 Tiny Houses and each have is own flavor! All furniture inside follow the color of the Bungalow. Blue - Yellow and Pink, just pick your favorite!. The Blue one is our first and original one. Yellow and Pink are the latest development, slightly bigger and more refined (a little bit more expensive too!). The ground floor is your living area! With a small but complete electric Kitchen (please don't expect to cook like in a restaurant) , table for eating with 2 stools, a nice sofa in front of a 32 inch SMART TV with FREE NETFLIX, You Tube and TV on demand. A small desk for your on line working and on the patio you can either relax on an armchair or an hammock . The bathroom with shower is also on the GROUND floor just next to the quite STEEP stairs. On the second floor you have the bedroom, with a very large wardrobe and a desk dresser and to finish a nice balcony where you can admire the kites flying in the sky and the sunset! AC is in both levels, hot water in the shower and a fast/reliable Wi Fi internet. Please note that due to the full wooden construction the 2nd floor bedroom gets hot during the day as wood doesn't isolate from the hot sun! As soon as sun goes down it cool of very fast. The Mertasari area is in the southern part of Sanur, away from the traffic and noise and is the new residential haven in Sanur. The beach at this southern end is also the favorite place for the Balinese to bathe at Sunrise and Sunset. Also, it is the best place for water sports like Diving, Kitesurfing, Windsurfing, Surfing and Stand-Up Paddle Surfing. The outside reef has nice waves for every level of surfing and it creates a natural calm lagoon where you can always have a swim and is ideal for kids. In case you are interested we are the OWNERS of Bali Stand UP Paddle School. We offer lessons and rental of SUP, Surfing, Hydrofoiling and Wing Foiling. USD$17) for one car one way (4 people + luggage) We really suggest taking up this offer because at the Airport it is very annoying with the taxi drivers and price at the end is about the same. Our friendly driver will wait for you outside the Arrival Hall with a sign with your name on it and take you directly to the Villa where he will help with the check in and explain all the features and a bit about Sanur. He will use the fast Tollway and if you need to buy some groceries on the way to the Villa, he will stop in a mini market in Sanur close by. Let me tell you the story behind our project of the “Wooden Tiny House”. Due to the pandemic, we had a lot of free time on our hands and much of it was spent on the web browsing and dreaming about future holidays. Many times, we came along some beautiful photos of small holiday homes, some really looked fantastic like out of a fable book. That is when we thought why not trying something similar here in Bali. So, we started to work on our new concept and together with our team of Architects, Structural Engineer, and Interior Designer we got serious about the project. We decide to use a plantation hard wood from South Sumatra call BamBang Lanang. This timber grows fast and is of strong class II quality, this species has long been used as a building material by the local community because the wood is strong, durable, and resistant to termite infestation. We now have the first functional example of our dream Tiny Wood House, and we are ready to share it with you. The house is in a small parcel of land close to our home that due to the Covid pandemic we were just using as a vegetable garden to grow our own food. Grand Ma comes daily to give it a watering and to collect the vegetables for our family use, you too are more than welcome to learn from her and to pick some veggies for your own cooking. Depending on the time of the year you can get: Eggplant, Broccoli, Cauliflower, Bok Choi, Herbs, Papaya, Pineapple, Dragon Fruit, Bananas, Long Beans, Tomatoes, Chillis, Spinach and other types of Tropical Fruits. Guest access The guest can access their own stylish Tiny House, the garden where they can pick up fruit and vegetables (seasonal!) and we have free cover parking for Motorbikes and Bicycles. Cars can only park on the main road. Other things to note UPDATE. January 2025 construction of the Villa next door is complete. No more noise or dust coming into our property. The things to Know!!! The second floor bedroom during the day gets very warm due to the full wooden construction! Wood warm up fast when exposed to the Sun but cool off also very fast as soon as the sun goes down. The concept of these Tiny House is for you to feel the wood around you not insulation panels! You can enjoy the living area during the day that is always cool.. SEPTEMBER 2024 we installed some sail shades that keep most of the sun out away from the walls so the second floor doesn't heat up too much. Cleaning twice a week or every 3 days. Change of linen and towels once a week. Fast and reliable Internet. Free drinking water. FREE NETFLIX. Bathroom is on the Ground floor!!! Stairs are pretty steep!!! If you have to go the bathroom in the night you need to walk down!!!
