With new furnishings, all the modern amenities & sunset views from the beach this house offers peace & tranquility with everything you need. Only 2 hours from Boston, 1 hour to Portland, 45 minutes to the White Mountains & 15 minutes to Cornish, you can enjoy local antique shops & restaurants or use it as a home base for day trips. The space Sokokis Lake in Limerick, ME is a small man made lake that is perfect for kayaking, swimming or relaxing on a float but big enough for water skiing, tubing and wakeboarding. With many coves, a deep channel and a public boat ramp, Sokokis provides great large and small mouth bass fishing year round. The town of Limerick is rural, but with a full grocery store, Ace Hardware, Dollar General, a delicious new restaurant, and a craft micro brewery (Gneiss) that has plenty of indoor/outdoor room for all 4 seasons. The location is secluded making it an ideal place to unwind and escape the hustle and bustle of daily life, but with easy access to amenities. This entire house offers water views from every room and sleeping for everyone in the family. An open floor plan on the main floor includes a full bathroom, an updated kitchen that opens to the living room, and is connected to a 4 season porch with gorgeous views. The spacious kitchen features quartz countertops and has plenty of room to cook & dine with stainless steel appliances (w/ dishwasher) and a 6 seat dining table. The family friendly living room has comfy furniture including electric recliners and a sectional couch to watch the mounted smart Fire TV. A 4 season porch off the living room/ kitchen is perfect to keep an eye on the kids playing and for additional sleeping with a futon on one side, then toys and a children’s kitchen set on the other. There are two cozy bedrooms off the living room tastefully furnished with comfortable beds, fresh linens and plenty of storage space for your belongings. Each bedroom has its own unique style and set up to provide a comfortable stay for all guests. The second floor has a stunning and spacious master bedroom that offers breathtaking views of the lake, a workstation with a desk and a fun toddler bed set up for any little ones. The room boasts vaulted ceilings, large windows that allow natural light to flood in, creating a bright and airy atmosphere for relaxation. Across the hall is the main full bathroom with all the amenities you need to make your stay worry free, including fresh towels, toiletries, and a washer/dryer. As you step out onto the back deck you'll be greeted with the sites and sounds of nature and the lake. Perched up above the lake and looking down on the two private sandy beaches, the view from the 6x6 deck provides the perfect backdrop for a morning coffee or an evening glass of wine. On the first outdoor level (lakeside) is a grilling station with a Webber grill and Blackstone skillet to cook any/all meals. On the second outdoor level is a private sandy beach area set up with chairs to lounge in, a small fridge for drinks and condiments, and a 4x4 table/chair set up to enjoy outdoor meals just feet from the lake. The second level beach is raised up from the shoreline providing a spot to relax while easily watching your family and friends make memories on the lake and lower level beach. The lower waterfront beach is sandy from above the shoreline to 7-10 feet out into the lake creating an expansive area 100 feet long to make sand castles, swim, or sit and enjoy the gentle waves. Out 25 feet from shore is a 10x10 floating dock with a ladder just for guests to swim to, jump off or lounge on. Guest access The entire house is yours minus a few areas we use for storage. All rooms and areas on the first and second floor are included, excluding the first floor kitchen closet and half of the expansive closet in main bedroom. All outdoor areas of house including the driveway, both beach levels and both docks are available for you to use.
