Eleven09--A Fine Guest Experience in the Sayles/Highland Historic District
Enjoy the distinctive comfort of Eleven09, a curated, historic cottage replete with vintage whimsy in the heart of The Storybook Capital of America! Centrally located near Downtown Abilene, McMurry U, Hardin-Simmons U, and Abilene Christian U. Our family-friendly haven accommodates up to 10 guests in the main house & self-contained king suite located over the two-car detached garage. The space We are Abilene's original and adored Eleven09. Guests call us the gold standard in vacation rentals and we would love to show you why!! The entire Eleven09 property can accommodate a maximum of 10 guests. The main house is on the ground floor and sleeps up to 8 in a comfortable master bedroom with a king bed and ensuite bath featuring a large walk-in shower, a bedroom with two twin beds, and a queen bedroom both of which share a full hall bathroom. Upstairs, over the detached 2-car garage, you will find a self-contained king bed suite with a lovely, equipped kitchenette and full bath with stand-up shower. Two more guests can be accommodated back in the main house on the living room queen-size sofa bed with an uber-comfortable memory foam topper. Eleven09 also has a fully equipped kitchen in the main house, a dining room with seating for 6 plus an extra table available for seating an additional 6 guests, a washer/dryer, crisp, clean bed linens, plush towels and robes, WIFI, and Smart TVs with live local and cable channels in all bedrooms, living room, and back patio. Our back garden is a highlight of the property. It is everyone's favorite spot to relax with family and friends. It's so lovely that it has even been host to a small wedding and frequently guests use it to entertain their friends for a wedding shower, baby shower, ladies' luncheon, or family college graduation celebration. **Please note that if you would like to use the property for additional guests, we will need to know before your stay.** We are looking forward to providing YOU with an EXPERIENCE in hospitality that will bring you back to stay on every visit to Abilene. Guest access Guests have full access to the entire property (except for inside the garage and a few closets and cabinets that are reserved for owner use only). In the backyard, you can spend a lovely evening sipping a glass of wine or roasting marshmallows by the fire pit. There are plenty of tables and chairs for all guests to enjoy a meal alfresco. You’ll even find a swing in the corner of our cottage garden to daydream away your afternoon. Other things to note For your peace of mind (and because we want to do the right thing!), we are fully compliant with State and *Local* Hotel Occupancy Tax regulations. Please note that your rate includes a 15% Hotel Occupancy Tax. State Hotel Occupancy Tax is 6%, Abilene City Hotel Occupancy Tax is 7%, and Taylor County Venue Tax is 2% for a total of 15%.
